Home...not so sweet

"I have a surprise!" Says Trevor and I look at him. We've lived here for about a week.

"What?"

"We are going back to the cottage!"

"What?"

"Your cottage. The one we first hung out in." He says and I smile.

"Me and you?" I ask and he nods.

I think of all the things that could happen. Then I smile and hug him.

"Thank you." I say. I realize that we could start a family there. Grow old and live a life. Be happy.

"Lets go." I say and hop onto his back.

We make it there. Walking inside Trev takes me off his back and slams me on the couch.

"Mia?"

"Yes?" I ask and he looks deeply into my eyes.

"Do you want a family?" He asks and I nod.

"You positive."

"Yes." I say and then he smiles.

"I feel the same." He says then slams his lips onto mine.

I sat in the kitchen making eggs. Trev was still asleep. I smile. He was mine. I then realize I was still wearing the ring that Ed gave me. I rip it off and throw it outside. I then finish cooking at set up the table and walk into the room. Blankets and pillows were scattered everywhere.

"Trev." I whisper and shake him he opens his eyes and smiles at me.

"Hey beautiful." He says and then he pulls me to him and cuddles me into the blankets hugging me.

"Trev..we have to get up." I say and he kisses my face all over.

"Fine." He says and walks to the bathroom.

I start to make the bed. Then the door open and Trev walks out in a towel. I stare at his chest for a moment before going back to work. I don't look at him while he gets dressed. I wait until his arms go around me and he kisses my neck.

"I made breakfast." I say and he grabs my hand and we walk to the breakfast I made we eat and he watches me clean up.

"You lost your ring."

"Yeah...it's Ed's ring. Not yours." I say and he nods. I smile and turn on the radio.

"Attention all villagers! Public announcement by the prince Edward." I stop dead in my tracks and listen.

"Attention to all the villagers, my new wife Mia has been attacked and kidnapped. If you find her report here...ASAP! And Mia if you are listening...I love you. Any trouble...just yell...that would be all." I turn off the radio. I stare at it.

"Their gonna do house searches...but they won't find us." He says and comes and grabs me.

"Hey..we'll be okay." He says and I nod.

"And if they do? They'll kill you. And if they do, I would shoot myself." I say and he shakes his head.

"You don't do that."

"Then you stay alive."

"I'll try." He says and I slam my lips on his. I push him against the wall. He pulls back.

"Mia. What's wrong?"

"Trevor...I love you. I need to be with you in every way possible...to love you every second before I don't have a chance." I say and he shakes his head.

"I love you too..but we can't do this all the time.."

"Please...please Trevor.." I say on the verge of tears.

"I'm sorry Mia."

"No...it's fine." I say and pull back.

"Don't be upset."

"No..it's fine. I'm okay." I say and walk upstairs to our room.

"Mia?"

I walk to the bathroom and lock the door and without even bothering to take my clothes off, I turn on the water and just sit there staring at the wall.

I would loose Trevor soon. I needed more time. That is when I let the tears go down my face. I look at my short hair. I frown. I look at my hands and then look up and jump out and look through the stuff. Mom saved this for me.

Pregnancy tests. I grab one. I do the test and wait for the results. I pace the floor in my wet clothes then finally I look at the test.

Positive...I was having a baby. Life was inside of me...
