Sarah's POV
I think I liked the fact that Cassy kissed me, I mean she was my best friend and I was in love with Sam but it was nice being kissed by Cassy a little sudden but nice.
Cassy's POV
"Hang on" I thought as I stopped I felt eyes on me but I didn't care I turned to Sarah and asked everyone else for a moment they left reluctantly giving Sarah and I a moment alone, I started pouring my heart onto the ground explaining how I fell for her at first sight and would do anything to make her happy... I was interrupted by a pair of lips pressing against mine, I melted into it.
Sarah's POV
I was piecing everything together in my head when Cassy came up to me and asked everyone to give us a moment, I was worried she was about to try to explain that it was a heat of the moment or something. Cassy was saying something I couldn't hear over my heart I did the only thing I could think of I kissed her back I felt her melt and I did too. Not ten minutes later Darrel called for us saying another radioactive sand storm was coming and we needed shelter. Cassy and I split up looking for shelter "pst hey" a kid called from a hole in the ground I ran towards him to discover the hole was an old bomb shelter...shelter talk about luck maybe my luck was improving after all eh? I told the kid to wait a few moments I had to get my group, I sprinted off to get them and found Darrel watching out for everyone he told me Cassy still ain't back yet I told them were to find the kid I still needed to find Cassy though.
