I sat on the couch and looked at the blank tv screen. The light reflected off of it showing a little red cloth hanging from the ceiling. I stood up and turned around. It looked like a blanket or maybe a coat. I stood on the steps up to my moms room and jumped to get it. I landed with a thud. My leg ached I landed as if I was going to land softly. I don't know why but I did and all of my weight was on one leg. I walked over and sat back on the couch I rubbed my knee then looked at the red blank that I had got. I laid it out on the ground and I had the initials M H G. I looked at if for a bit then realized that those were my initials. I put the blanket down and walk away from it. As I walked to my room the door bell rang. I stopped and walked to the door. When I opened the door no one was there but there was a pet case. I picked it up and brought it in. There was a note on it that said 'Here is your pet from when you were a kid. Hope you two will get alone again.' I unzipped the cast and a red and black dragon flew up. It flapped its wings and flew around. I was surprised and smiled a little.
"Wait when did I have a dragon?" I asked myself. I jumped up flying and grabbed the dragon. It coughed and fire flew out. I put my hand out and froze it before it hit the wall.
"When you were five your mom got me you named me Lily remember?" A voice asked as the dragon squirmed out of my arms.
"Who was that?" I questioned confused.
"It's me your dragon Goober." The voice said again but it was the dragon that I saw talking.
"You can talk." I stated as I looked at her.
"Yup and remember my name is Lily." She said as she flew over to me. "I see that you got the hang of flying." I looked around and remembered that I was flying.
"I guess." I said as I looked at her.
"Why you not smiling?" She asked flying around me.
"I don't know." I said as I floated down to the floor.
"Well can I go take a nap on your bed I'm tired?" She asked as she coughed fire again. I froze the fire and looked at her. She slowly began to float down and I caught her.
"You must be really tired." I said smiling and taking her to my room and laying on my bed.
