He was shocked at his own words. If he went back that was basically suicide. His palace was now swarming with whoever the people were who contacted Lavender. He saw everyone staring at him but in Lavender's eyes he saw worry. "Please, Alexander don't do this." Lavender begged. Astrid and Jace shared questioning looked then he realized his real name had never been released to the public for safety reasons. He was always The Prince or The King. He stood up and walked over to her "Lavender you know I have to. We can't hide here forever." She grabbed his hands and stared daggers into his eyes her tears disappearing. "What-" Astrid asked standing up. The fox held up his hand "I simply needed to grab your attention. To leave everything you know and accept not leading, or leading." He took a quick look at Astrid. "We needed to get you here to tell our princess her real fate. We fussed distracting you was the best way." Everyone stood in silence for a moment until Jace finally spoke. "How?" The so-called-fox laughed. "We are shapeshifters. It was quite easy really. Princess you have this ability to." Astrid looked shocked. Suddenly Lavender stood in her place. Alexander looked shocked but when he looked in front of him Lavender was there to. Suddenly the second Lavender turned back into Astrid who looked horrified. "Exactly. By the way my name is Benjamin." The fox told them then a wide smiled crossed his face. "Benjamin Blossom." With that Astrid ran out.
