Fallon's POV

I stood waiting at the train station, a large leather suitcase standing by my legs. 'I can't believe that I'm actually doing this! I've left Garret in charge of the bakery, and notified them that I'm not certain of when I'll return, or how long my trip will take. I went to the garage and informed Roxl and the guys as well. I brought practically all my money with me. Savings too, you never know how much you might need. I've packed plenty of clothing as well, enough to last me at least a week. If I'm staying for longer than that, I can always take them to the cleaners.'

'But... There is one thing that I'm worried about. I'm going by myself. And I'm going to stay in a hotel, alone. Nobody is going to be staying with me. I can't remember the last time I slept all by myself. Garret usually sleeps in the room right next to me in the bakery. Knowing he's there, knowing he'll wake me up if it gets too seriously bad, it helps, a little. But... But now... I'll be alone, alone and, and-' I looked up, my thoughts halting as I heard the steam hiss from the train as it stopped in front of me.

I grabbed my suitcase, handing it to the courier, before stepping on board. I walked down to the end of the last carriage of the train. I collapsed into the end seat, sinking into the soft cushions. I sighed and gazed out the window as the train started to move. 'I wonder how things will work out. I mean, it is probably too much to ask to meet the famous alchemist Edward Elric and his younger brother. Also, to ask them about the taboo they committed to boot. To ask how they survived. How both of them survived. Who knows how this will end.'

I sighed again, resting my forehead against the cool glass of the window. I stared aimlessly out of the window as the scenery rolled by. As my thoughts seemed to fade away, time was irrelevant as I was just barely conscious of the slight bumping and rocking of the train, near lulling me to sleep. But I struggled to keep my consciousness, I didn't want to revisit the nightmares. Not here. Not yet. I was alone, and because of that, I wasn't near ready to deal with my nightmares yet.

I was only stirred from my daze when I arrived at my stop. I left the train, retrieving my luggage, before swiftly exiting the train station. I examined a map that I had retrieved before my departure. I soon located the military Eastern Command. I headed towards its location as swiftly as I could, occasionally glancing down at my map. I finally reached the command centre. I felt intimidated and insignificant against the large, imposing building as it towered over me. I gulped before looking around me. I quickly located a man in the blue military uniform. He had glasses, dark hair and a kind face.

I approached him before asking; "Excuse me sir, but would you happen to know where the closest inn near here would be?" He looked down at me with a smile. "If you just go down that road, keep walking and you'll come across a place with a sign that says 'Iron Soldier' it's fairly close, not especially expensive but a rather good inn nonetheless." He replied, pointing down a road to my right. "Thank you!" I exclaimed before heading off in the direction he instructed.

I reached the inn within a couple of minutes. I then signed in at the front desk, retrieving my key before navigating the location of my room. It was on the second floor. I settled into my room, unpacking my things. I then looked at the clock in my room, surprised to find that it was already seven and that the sun was beginning to set. I shook my head before gathering some things and taking a long, hot shower. Afterwards I brushed my teeth and then found the time to be eight fifteen.
