Fallon's POV

I immediately shifted my gaze from the two of them once they sat down, or rather, I shifted my gaze from Alphonse, turning to look at my alarm clock instead. 20:29. 'That late?! When I was running from the brothers, and after they caught me, it all took at most an hour? Not even. Half an hour probably. That means that I was sitting in that alleyway for over an hour!! Geez...'
I pressed my hand to my forehead, 'Not only is my head pounding from everything that's happened, I think I might've gotten myself sick too! Roxl and the guys are gonna be bothering me for weeks over this, I just know it! Ugh, those guys and their ridiculous mother-hen attitudes...' I heard a light cough across from me and I jumped slightly.
'I somehow managed to forget that those two were there...'

I turned my attention back to the two brothers before speaking. "What do you want?"

Edward was the one to reply. "Well, first of all, you can tell us why you were so interested in Al's mark and how you even knew about it." I let out a slight grumble before relenting.

"I became interested in the subject of human alchemy, and when I discovered that there were a pair of young alchemists committed the taboo and survived, especially with one of them being a bonded soul... Well, I just had to see you for myself. Also, I'm not obliged to tell you how I know. I'll just say, somebody told me..." I mentally cringed. 'I hate lying, it sucks! Even if it is kinda the truth, the way they're gonna take it isn't.' Edward narrowed his eyes at me and it only made the uncomfortable knot on my stomach tighten.

"Alright, if that's true," he started, "why did you freak out and run away when you saw Al's bonding seal?"

I bit my lip slightly, "I don't have the greatest past with alchemy, it reminded me of one I saw a long while ago, and I remembered something I'd rather forget." He raised an eyebrow.

"If I didn't know any better, with the way you reacted and by your automail legs, I'd say that Al and I aren't the only ones in this room that committed the taboo." I tensed and clenched my jaw, while Al continued looking back and forth between Ed and I.

"Mind your own business." I said quietly.

"What?"

"Mind your own freaking business!! What the hell is this?! An interrogation?! Human transmutation isn't the only way to loose some limbs, just so you know! Why'd you even chase after me in the first place?! You don't even know me! Get out! I want to get some sleep at least! Get out of my room and leave me the hell alone, you jerk!" I yelled, my voice almost echoing off the walls. I shoved them both out of the bedroom into the hall of my hotel room. I swiftly locked the door and leaned against it until I heard the front door open and their footsteps leave the room, closing the door behind them.

I let out a deep sigh and slid down to sit against the door. I tried to calm down but my heart continued to race and it felt like I couldn't breathe. I clutched my head, 'Why did he have to ask all of those questions?! Why did he have to make me lie?! No matter the fact that I didn't actually deny committing the taboo, he's still going to take it that way!! Why did I have to react like that?! Why am I so impulsive and hotheaded in these situations?!!' I let out another deep sigh. I pulled myself to my feet I walked into the bathroom. I turned one of the faucets above the bath and watched as the water poured ceaselessly into the tub. I grabbed towels and some clothes before getting into the bath.
