Harry quickly got up from the bed without a word and grabbed his black jeans. I tried to cover up with the blanket while reaching for my pink dress on the other side of the bed.

"Oh fuck, I'm so sorry Harry" Alice mumbled in an attempt to apologise while trying to wipe the remains of her dinner off Harry's carpet with her blue dress sleeve. The wiping had the very opposite effect of the desired one and the grainy stain was getting rubbed in to the carpet.

Harry had hurried towards the bathroom. I feared the worst and presumed that we wouldn't be welcome there when he got out.

I peeled my dress up my body and made my way to Harry to apologise for Alice's behaviour and ensure that we would try (really emphasize the word TRY) to pay him back for the cost of cleaning the carpet.

To my surprise, I didn't find Harry standing by the sink calling security to kick us out like I had previously guessed.

Harry's tall figure was instead seated on the floor by the toilet with the toilet seat up. Loud hurls were now being heard and I turned away so I wouldn't see what was coming out of him as well.

The noise of his dinner entering the toilet wasn't pleasant, and I had to try with every bone in me not to join him and Alice in their puke fest.

After a few more hurls, Harry finally reached his arm up and flushed the toilet, and I quickly reached out to hand him a towel so he could clean himself off.

"Thank you." A much weaker voice than his normally raspy one said. "I'm not very good with vomit, especially when it's other peoples.

"I'm really sorry about the carpet Harry." I mumbled behind him as he was now standing in front of the mirror brushing his teeth. I was now very aware that this was now the second item I had ruined of his tonight. First the shirt and now the carpet, even though it hadn't technically been me who ruined it, I was still the one who brought Alice to the party.

Harry spat into the sink and took a sip from a glass of water standing on a shelf right next to him.

"Don't worry about it, it's just a carpet. I'm much more concerned with the timing of her uhm, 'entrance'. I was having way too much fun to be interrupted like that." His raspy voice had now returned and he started moving towards me.

"I was having a lot of fun too." I let Harry embrace me once more and just as I leaned in for a kiss, Alice called my name in the most pitiful way ever.

"I'm sorry, I have to go help her sort this out." I sighed and left the warmth of his body. "Is there a dry cleaner nearby that I can call and order a pick up?" I asked.

"I told you not to worry about it." Harry's normally warm tone now had a small edge to it. "Go help Alice." I nodded and obeyed.

Fortunately, Alice had not managed to cause any more damage to the carpet and I helped her sort some of it out with some wet towels.

"I think I have to get her home." I turned to Harry who was now sitting on the foot of his bed with his fingers eagerly pressing his phone.

"Mhm." He mumbled in response without letting his eyes leave the phone and I was surprised by his lack of interest.

"Uhm, ok then. Thank you for having us and sorry about the carpet again. Please send us the dry cleaners bill." I took a strong hold of Alice's arm and tried to bring her up from the floor, which was easier said than done.

After multiple attempts and zero help from Harry's side, I managed to get her out of the house and onto the street. A taxi soon appeared and with his help we got her into the car. The clock in the taxi showed a rather late 4:13 pm.
