Seven

Grayson's P.O.V

"Why are you back so quick, bro? You literally left like just yesterday."
I could hear the tiredness in Cameron's voice, and plus he had that messy bed hair.
"Um well, there were a change in plans."
I calmly said just staring out the window, while Cameron payed close attention to the road.
"What? Did.. Did you find something out? Wait, was Ethan actually in New Jersey?"
Cameron just kept throwing all these questions at me.
I gathered up my thoughts before I spoke.
"

Turns out Ethan wasn't in New Jersey, never was ever since we've moved here to LA."
Confusion spread all over Camerons face.
"Wait so then where is he?"
"Not quite sure. He claims to be with some girl, but.."
"But what?? Do you not believe him?!"
Cameron's questions were really getting me to think.
"Well he lied to me once, who knows, he could possibly have lied to me about other things. Gets me thinking whether there is a possibility of.."
I paused before finishing my sentence.
"..Of Ethan actually being Yarely's secret admirer."
Cameron surprisingly stayed quiet.
But then he quietly spoke again.
"Well.. what are you going to do?"
I took a moment to think about what I was actually going to do.
"In the moment I don't know what to do, but for now I need to fix things with someone. Take me to her house."

Yarely's P.O.V
I was down by the fire place in my pjs with a mug filled with hot chocolate while I stared off into the distance. I gripped onto the mug pretty tight as flashbacks of what I've been through flashed through my head.
*Flashback*
"

Now who should I start off with first? You? Or maybe you?"

He said pointing the gun at each of us.

"No how about you."

He said pointing it at me. My blood ran cold.

He laughed.

"Oh I'm definitely going to enjoy this to see this bitch suffer."

*End of Flashback*

Just thinking about Ethan nearly killing me is just devastating. Why would he do such a thing? I thought he was someone I could trust.
I close my eyes only to feel a tear roll down my eye.
"Honey! do you need..."
I heard my mom yell out, but stopped mid sentence as soon as she was in front of me.
I quickly wiped my face trying to cover up the fact I was crying, but it was no use, she had already seen me.
"Sweety, are you okay? What's wrong?!"
She said it with a tone of concern in her voice as she stepped closer to me.
"It's- it's nothing mom I'm fine. Just got a little over whelmed about the fact that I'm back."
I didn't tell her the truth, because I didn't want her worrying even more about me. She sighed a bit.
"Just glad you're back, and permanently. No one will hurt my daughter again!"
She said while bending down to hug me.
I felt her warmth run through my body. God I missed her so much.
"So is there anything you need or want?"
She asked me while she pulled away from the hug.
"Hmm well I am pretty hungry, can you get some food?"
I've been craving so much lately.
"Again? You're hungry again ?! You literally ate like 30 minutes ago, and not to mention the whole box of pizza you had for breakfast, and the 2 bags of chips I had, and the left over chicken we had from the night before, and pretty much everything I had in the pantry! "
I guess I have built up quite an appetite.
"I haven't eaten food in quite a while mom, let me enjoy it."
She sighed a bit.
"Alright."
"I'm in the mood for some Chinese food!"
I said giving her a cheesy smile.
She groaned and grabbed her bag heading towards the door.
"Don't forget the egg roles!"
I shouted out moments before she shut the door.
I got up heading towards the kitchen in hope to find anything I could eat in the meantime.
I didn't find anything, but a cup of noodles.
I filled it with water and placed it in the microwave to cook when I heard the door bell ring.
"Is she back already?"
I asked myself.
I walked towards the door.
I said something but stop mid sentence.
"Well that was qui--"
The person standing in front of me left me in shock.
"G-Grayson?"
"Yarely.. Can I come in?"
He softly asked. I knew he was hurt.
I stepped aside to let him in, shutting the door behind you.
"Listen, can we talk?"
He asked me.
"Talk."

e took a step towards me.
"Listen.. Yarely"
He sighed.
"You don't know how big of a mistake it was to leave you. I don't know why I did that, I was a complete idiot!! I know leaving you right after everything else you had gone through was one of the biggest mistakes I've ever done. My mom and both of the Cameron's made me realize things. The more I was away from you the emptier I felt. Which is ironic since I'm the one who left, after being given the chance to be with you again. But never am I going to leave you again, if you give me the chance to re-enter your life. Yarely I love you."
It all came at me to fast.
"Do you know how much it hurt to have the love of your life walk out of your life, after being kidnapped by their brother? ... Grayson you hurt me. Real deap inside. I thought I would be able to trust you and have you by my side no matter what!"
My eyes were starting to swell up, and I was getting a head rush.
I saw Grayson's mouth open, but then close again right after the door opened. My mom walked in with a bag of panda express.
"Grayson hi. What's going on here?"
"Um nothing mom, is that my food?"
I said looking at her as she placed the food in the kitchen.
"Yeah, I got you orange chicken, brocoli, and chow mein just how you like it."
"Yum"
I said planning to go eat some.
I started to walk towards it when I lost balance and felt light headed.
"Wooah"
I let out.
I felt Grayson's strong arms grip me.
"Yarely? Are you okay?"
I heard Grayson say.
"Sweety! Omg!"
I heard my mom gasp out.
"Yarely!"
Grayson's voice was the last thing I heard before, everything went pitch black, and I doze off.
