Unforeseen; the sequel

Sixteen

Today I was going to spend my day with Cameron. Since I've been down lately ever since I kicked Grayson out.
Cameron noticed how I've been feeling lately so he insisted he would try and make me feel better.
He was going to throw me a last minute baby shower.
It was going to be a gender reveal party as well since Cameron, who's going to be the god father of course, did not let me find out the baby's gender. Only he knew.
I was pretty much due like in about a week so it was very last minute.
It wasn't going to be big or anything, just the people I'm closest to were coming.
It was going to be at Cameron's house so in 3 hours I would be driving to his place. But in the meantime It was 11 a.m. and I had no idea what to wear. I already had showered so all I needed was to get dressed.
I wasn't sure whether to wear a long or short dress.
Pretty soon I went along with wearing a long flowery loose dress. I was just trying to be comfortable. I put on some sandals, and procrastinated on doing my makeup. Eventually I decided to apply some basics. I was just going to be around my closest friends so there was no reason to cake up my face.
When I finished I stood in front of a mirror and just thought to myself "dam I'm fat"
Like I said before, I was due in about a week so this is the biggest I've ever looked.
I honestly don't feel that nervous.
I know I am, but I don't feel it.
Like I don't know what to expect.
I know for sure it's gonna hurt like hell, but I've dealt with lots of pain before so I don't think it'd be much of a difference.
I don't even know what to name the baby yet ! I have some names in mind but I'm not completely certain. And plus I can't be completely sure, because I mean like I don't even know the kids gender yet.
I just honestly try and not to think about me being labor, so I won't over think it.
Especially thinking about Grayson not being next to me while I am in labor.
So instead I just ignore it.
Since I was already finished getting ready, I just headed to Cameron's house with 45 minutes to spare.
The moment I got there I already realized a few cars parked outside his house, such as Matt's and the Jack's.
I headed to his front door, and the moment I got to his porch I heard "how the hell do you hang this? What is this even for? Am I putting it right? Ugh she's gonna be here---"
I cut the talking off by walking in.
Cameron was covered head to toe in a ton of streamers, and then there was Gilinsky trying to untangle him.
I let out a laugh because they looked ridiculous.
"What are you doing here??? I said it was at 2!"
Cameron seemed a little shook. It was funny.
"I was bored so I came early, but the real question is what are you doing??"
I said with a laugh.
"Three words, I hate streamers."
I helped them clean up the streamers, but before I did I made sure I took tons of pictures of Cameron and posted some on snapchat.
They let me help clean up the living room, but the backyard was off limits for me apparently. Matt called it the "real" surprise.
So I had to wait until everyone showed up.
I was becoming impatient since I was starving!!!
I swear Cameron better hurry this up.
By the looks of it, it looked like everyone was here.
"Can I have some food now?!!"
I shouted .
And as if on cue, Cameron walked in with a grin on his face.
"Who's ready to go into the backyard?"
He asked me.
"I swear if you continue talking and have me waiting I'm going to hit you in the balls."
I was serious about my food and that's how hungry I was.
"Woah feisty! Okay okay you can go now!!"
I saw him kind of cover his balls which made me laugh. I walked towards the backyard with Cameron behind me.
When I opened the door that led outside, I was in shock. It was very surprising.
I screamed in joy and jumped a bit.
"OMG YOU GUYS GOT PANDA CATERING "
I ended the sentence with a scream.
I ran towards the food and went straight to eating.
"That's it ? really ? you went straight to the food, and didn't even realize the set up of things? "
I said nothing but continued to eat.
"Do you at least have something to say? Like 'I love you... Cameron..??'"
He said with hope.
"Mmm I love Panda"
I said shoving some chow mein in my mouth. Anyone who knows me knows I'm in love with Panda.
"That's what I like to hear... Wait what ? Noooo, you're supposed to say 'I love Cameron!"
I love teasing this kid.
"That too"
I said with a grin.
"Alright I'll take that"
He said.
I laughed and gave him a big hug.
"Thank you so much, I'm so blessed to have you!"
I said.
"I know"
He responded.
I elbowed him and he laughed.
They day went on and it was filled with laughter and enjoyment.
Cameron honestly went all out.
The decorations were so cute, he had little raddles and lanterns hanging from the trees, and he had the backyard filled with roses, and flowers. I noticed that he actually had blue and pink streamers hanging correctly this time.
I'm so grateful.
"Everyone gather around!!"
Matt said while Cameron walked out with a cake in his hands.
"Time to find out the gender!"
He commented.
I heard exciting murmurs and it made me smile.
Matt handed me a knife, while everyone was surrounding me, waiting to see what gender the baby will be.
But before I could have the knife make contact with the cake, I felt something trickle down my legs.
I looked down and saw a puddle.
"I think my water just broke."
