Eighteen

Yarely's P.O.V
"Just lay here and relax, you need to rest up"
Says the nurse, motioning to me to lay down.
"I suggest you try and sleep, but if you can't here's the remote to the tv if you'd like to see it"
This nurse was just so sweet.
"Thank you"
I said.
I actually couldn't sleep, so I turned on the tv.
I skipped through the channels looking for something good to watch when I came across my favorite movie, The Maze Runner!
(May or may not be writing a story with The Maze Runner, and one with hot ass Dylan O'Brien😉)
It was in the middle of my favorite part where Minho, Alby, and Thomas were all stuck in the Maze for the night.
I continued to peacefully watch it, enjoying every bit of it.
I was still watching it when suddenly I begin to hear my name.
"Yarelyyyy!!"
I heard.
It sounded distant but soon began to get closer and closer, until I could hear the voice right outside the door.
"Where's Yarely?"
The voice said.
I knew who it was, and it gave me the chills now that I recognized it.
"Oh my god, what happened to you?"
I heard Cameron (Dolan) say.
"Just tell me where she is! What room is she in?"
He sounded anxious.
"She's in there"
I heard someone say.
And then suddenly the doors flew open, and there he stood looking at me with a smile on his face.
"Ethan..."
I let out.
"Been a while hasn't it?"
He says.
His clothes were all ruffled around, I even saw a hole in his shirt, face filled sweat.
"What are you doing here?"
I questioned.
"I came to see my child"
He said with a smile still.
"All of a sudden you want to see him?"
"Him? It's a him? Oh my!"
He said it with such excitement in his eyes, it was.. Odd.
"What's his name?"
I hesitated before responding.
"Colten."
"My son Colten"
He said with a shine in his eyes.
"What are you really doing here? What do you want? And why do you look like that? What happened to you?"
This all seemed so odd. I never would've expected him to come and visit.
"Grayson is the reason why I look like this."
He says taking a step forward.
Grayson?
"What do you mean?"
This didn't make sense.
"Well Grayson came over and told me how you were in labor. I immediately wanted to come and see you, but Grayson insisted I didn't. I didn't understand why he didn't want me to come, but I didn't listen to him. But when I was about to leave he attacked me. He said you don't deserve to have any us here, but that is totally not true. You need all the support you can get. So like he attacked me so I wouldn't come but I luckily escaped because I needed to come and see you. I just had to. I know I've made mistakes but I'm sorry."
What? Did Ethan really just apologize?
I don't totally trust this, he was MIA for months and he suddenly appears saying this? Strange.
"If you really think I'm easily going to let you into my child's life with this so called "apology" well you're wrong. Last time I remembered you kidnapped me, raped me and tried to kill me!!! "
I was starting to get frustrated.
"And you're wrong! Grayson would never do or say that!"
I sure hope he wouldn't.
Something changed in Ethan in that instant. The Ethan I recognized was back.
"Listen you little whore, that kid is mine. He has the Dolan blood. So you either hand him to me the easy way or the hard way. And trust me the hard way gets ugly" He was now away from the door and across the room moving closer to the bed.
That's the Ethan I know, threatening me, but I'm no longer afraid of him his threats mean nothing. But in that moment I heard my name.
"Yarely! Where's Yarely!! I need to see her, where's Yarely!"
Deja Vu?
"Fuck... I guess the hard way it is."
Ethan says. I ignore him and continue to look at the door expecting him to walk in.
I look over to where Ethan was and he was... gone? Must've gone out the door that was in the back of the room.
But suddenly I hear the door open up.
I look over to the door, and there here stood. Grayson actually showed up.
"Oh my god Yarely!"
He says in tears. He rushed towards me, and immediately hugged me. Man i missed him so much.
"You came! You actually came!! I didn't think you would actually come when Cameron called you!!"
I said slightly laughing while crying.
"Cameron? He never called me. Actually I haven't really received any calls in months because of Ethan.."
He slowly says.
"Ethan? He was just here, but what do you mean? And why do you look like you haven't showered in years?"
I say with a chuckle.
"He was here?! OMG did he hurt you?! Are you okay? Did he say anything??"
He seemed worried.
"Um yeah he started threatening me about giving him my baby, Colten"
I said that with such a smile.
"And oh yeah! He also came in here all beaten up and actually said that you did that to him... That you tried keeping him from coming so that he wouldn't be able to come see me... Is that true?"
I say my voice slowing in the end.
"Me? Omg never! Yarely you know I wouldn't! HE DID THAT TO ME! He had me tied up and hidden. He would pretend to be me around you Yarely! Then he'd come back home to me and tell me all about how he was ruining our relationship and something about a plan of his! It all started the day of our planned date months ago. I was so looking forward to our date, when he knocked me out in my parking lot, and I woke up to blood running down my head and neck in some room all tied up."
So this whole time it was Ethan?
"That would explain why you.. Well he showed up to the house that day with blood on his shirt! Oh my god if it's true then OMG Grayson!!!"
I say looking up to him. I grabbed his arm and pulled him down into my arms.
"I'm so glad it wasn't you these past months then.."
I say in his ear.
He pulled away.
"What?
He asked confused
"Because that means you do still love me.."
I say with a small smile.
His confusion soon went away and a big smile grew upon his face.
"Of course! of course! OF COURSE! "
He said.
"I love you Yarely!... I love you."
He said looking down at me.
Hearing those words actually come out from him made me smile so big like an idiot.
"I love you too Grayson"
I say and pull him into a kiss.
I fell in love all over again. I haven't felt his soft lips in the longest, and it honestly felt good.
"Yarely I promised you that I would always stay by your side, and I don't intend to break that promise. No matter what obstacles you go through, I will go through them with you. I never want to leave your side again. I've spent too many months without you by my side and I'm never letting you go now. I will love you till eternity because I know you're the one. I'm certain of it. You have my heart, and I'm so happy you do. I've never met anyone so outgoing, amazing, funny, intelligent, and extremely gorgeous like you! You make my heart skip a beat every time I hear your voice. You're such a strong and independent women, and that's two out of a million things that I love about you. I swear I'm so lucky to be by your side. I cherish and care for you so much! Whenever I look into your eyes I get lost in them because they're just so beautiful like you! And now that you have a child things are gonna be much harder, but I know you'll be able to handle it because you can handle anything that crosses your path. But I will always be there to help you with anything. I want you in my life Yarely...
And not just you but Colten as well. I want to love, and take care of you guys for the rest of my life.
So will you do me the honor of making me the happiest man alive and well.."
He pulls out a small box and kneels on one leg.
"Yarely will you marry me?"
