Twenty

Grayson's P.O.V
I stand in front of the mirror, in an all black suit.
Eyes droopy and dead.
Today was Yarely's funeral, and I don't know how I'm going to stop myself from crying today.
Im filled with anger and sadness.
In the end the doctors ended up finding out what caused her death.
Ethan had poisoned her which was why the doctors weren't able to revive her.
Still no sign of him, but the police now are on the look for him.
As for Yarely, she didn't deserve this. Colten didn't deserve this!
He now has to grow up without ever being with his mother. No child deserves that.
It breaks my heart thinking about it.
"You ready?"
A voice softly says from behind.
I turn to see Yarely's Mom standing at the door dressed.
I give her a forced little smile.
I was going to live with Yarely's Mom since she needs the support to deal with this just as much as I do.
And since I took the responsibility of raising Colten, Yarely's Mom offered me to stay. And so I will to help her mom stay on her feet financially and emotionally.
"I'm ready."
I say with my voice cracking at the end.

**At funeral**
"We're gathered here today to pay our tributes to precious, Yarely and our respect to the family and loved ones of her."
I dozed off during the ceremony, to busy hurting and thinking about her.
All the guys were here, from Cameron all to Taylor.
I appreciated the fact they were all here.
My heart was broken and I felt dead inside.
Miserable was how I felt.
I looked down to the ring that I held in between my fingers dazing off at it. It was the ring I would've worn. I had proposed, wanted to make her mine forever.
Now I'll never get to see her walk down the aisle looking stunning, or be able to look her in the eye and say I do.
I won't get to witness how crazy she gets over making Christmas perfect again, or how she has to make everything her way. I won't get to see her be an amazing mother to Colten or an amazing wife to me. I won't get to see her again. I won't get to feel or hold her in my arms.
I won't get to show her how much I love her.
As if on cue, stopping the tears from raining down, the minister calls my name.
"Grayson, you had a few words to say?"
He asks.
"Yes..."
I look at the ring once again before putting it in my pocket.
"Yes I do."
I stand up and walk towards the front of everyone.
"First off id like to thank all of you for coming."
I take a pause.
"Let me tell you all about this love that I feel. The best thing that can happen to a person is to find real love. And that's why the best thing that every happened to me was finding Yarely. The love of a good woman sets something free inside a man's heart...a deeper joy for life; a peace from truly being known; a strength of spirit that will see him through anything. The love a good woman makes a man a better man; changing him forever, and I can gratefully say that, that Is what Yarely has done to me. It's looking into her eyes and knowing I'm totally vulnerable; She can bring me to my knees with just one look. It's like God put an angel on earth just for me; The only person Who could rescue me from the depths of hell. That's love and it's all because of her. Some people say you only fall in love once, but everytime I heard her voice I would fall in love all over again. If I could reach up and hold a star for every time she made me smile, I would have the whole night sky in the palm of my hand. Sometimes I would wonder if life was really worth it; then, I would look at her smile and I instantly knew it was. For once in my life, I didn't have to try to be happy. When I was with her it just happened. Anyone can catch your eye, but it takes someone special to catch your heart. Yarely, you will forever have my heart and I love you with every piece of it."
I say while I place my ring back onto my finger, intending to always keep it there. Smiling knowing she was wearing hers too and that in some way they'd be connected.
"Once again, thank you all for coming."
I realized that tears had escaped my eyes.
I motioned my hands to rub them away but before I
Could finish a hand stopped my own hand.
It was Yarely's mother. She nodded her head and pulled me into a hug.
"She really loved you."
She says in my ear.
"I know."
I said, and I'm thankful for that.

*Hours later*
10 pm.
I layed on Yarely's bed just taking in everything about her room.
I've done this for hours not getting up from this bed once.
I just wanted to be with her again. I missed her like crazy. I just wanted to hold her again.
I took in her scent she left on her bed and made me dread not having her with me.
My eyes wandered her room looking at it all until they landed on her laptop.
I grabbed it from her counter and sat up on the bed.
As soon as I opened it I saw a picture of both Yarely and I together. We both looked so happy. That's what Yarely is. My happiness.
I clicked on her documents and then went to her pictures just so I could see her beautiful face again.
I went through them, and happy is what she looked in them which made me glad.
I can across a file that said "Love" on it.
I clicked on it and it was a slide show.
I plugged in earphones, and inserted both in my ears. I pressed play. The room completely dark except for the light the laptop gave off.
"Grayson I love you"
It was a video I recorded a while back of Yarely while we were at the park.
The screen changed.
It was another video.
"SURPRISE"
She yelled out.
It was a video on my birthday when I opened the gift she gave me.
The screen changed again.
It was a video I took of her while I tickled her.
"Grayson stop! Omg!"
She said while laughing, and smiling.
She was so beautiful.
Pictures of us came up as well and more videos did too. The slideshow was filled with hours of all our memories.
I was going to watch it all.
I continued to watch with a smile and tears on my face.
I truly love Yarely.
