There were some rules which I followed. I hated violence, and I never encouraged it. There was no story about my hatred, but I simply despised it. Now for the first time, I wanted to break the rules by connecting my fist to his face --perfectly, attractive face.

Not only did he leave me with no transport yesterday, but he had the audacity to rub it in that I didn't know the meaning of planning and decided to suggest a plan to make my sister and Neel date. How dare he come here and steal my show?

"Are you done?" I narrowed my eyes and clenched my fists.

He raised his eyebrows lazily and shook his head. "Nope." His hair fell on his eyes, and I had a sudden urge to grab it forcefully so that he'd pass out in pain.

He was lucky that we were in Ruhi's house. Otherwise, he would be suffering from severe physical injuries. Needless to say that I would never claim responsibility. It'd be his own fault.

"We should book a high scale restaurant," he suggested smugly, letting his stupid smirk take a place on his face.

"No, it should be a regular restaurant," I replied, grinding my teeth.

His left eyebrow rose higher. "Really?"

"Yes." I stood my ground not willing to let him have the upper hand.

"I know what Neel wants. He would like to impress Kajal," he suggested like he knew everything.

"Exactly why he should do what I say. Who knows her better than her sister?" This time it was my turn to smile smugly.

"You don't know anything. Let me deal with this. I know what to do," he dismissed me and turned to face the guys.

His dismissal I might have ignored -- for now. But the superior, I-know-everything-you-should-stay-out-of-this air he demonstrated nullified the validity behind his words. Over the years, I'd made a habit of ignoring male species and their commands after the debacle with Vihar-- except my dad and cousins, of course. I might have looked at him adoringly at one time. Not anymore. I would never concede that he was right -- because he wasn't. Well, he had a rude awakening ahead of him. I'd never make the same mistake--twice. He better be prepared for this.

"I am not backing down on this." I raised my chin in defiance.

He stared at me like he couldn't believe me. I could see his thoughts churning until they formed a plan of action. He released a mischievous smile my way. "You would if you know what I mean."

No. I didn't know exactly what he meant by that. But by the way, he said that I concluded that he was referring to my professional life.

That manipulative fox!

He sighed and shook his head like I was unreasonable. "I know Neel. He wants everything to be perfect."

I clucked my tongue. "I thought that you were just plain stupid, but apparently you are delusional too."

His mischievous smile thinned into a scowl. "What did you say?"

"Now, you are deaf too." I tsked, feigning sympathy.

If looks could kill, I'd be dead by now. "Do not provoke me."

"I don't take orders well." I gritted my teeth.

"Then you should have kept your mouth shut," he retorted, looking like he was on the verge of losing control.

"Woah, I didn't know that speaking the truth is a crime."

"Let me hear what the truth is." He folded his arms over his gray t-shirt which molded perfectly to his muscular body.

He was baiting me, and I shouldn't fall for that. But my anger got the best of me. "You don't know Neel. He is a perfect gentleman --unlike you." I shot daggers at him.
