-Autumn's POV-
I widen my eyes.
"Who?" Laurence and I asked in unison.
"Well...you've never met them, so I really can't tell you. Even if I did you wouldn't know who they are" he said.
"And yet you can't give me a description on who they are? What they look like?" I sighed "idiot...Well I'm off" I turn around and head out the door ,but stop at the door frame and turn my head back around. "See ya!" I lifted my hand up lazily and exited Laurence's house. Walking down the cobblestone path, I see people staring at me with smiles on their faces. What was so funny? I stroll to my house, open the door, then shut it behind me. I walk lazily up to my room and flop on my bed, looking at the ceiling. Who is this person? Have they known them for a long time, do they know each other, are they close? So many questions raced through my mind, but I erased them all. I quickly got up from my bed and put on my armour, one piece after the other. After I'm done I walk to my bathroom, splash some water in my face making sure not to get it on my amour. After doing so, I run, grabbing my sword swiftly in the process and walk out the door of my house. I then stepped on the cobblestone streets and started to walk towards the gates. It was my job today to guard the gate. Usually Dante is with me but- I was put off my thoughts as I see a girl in the perimeter of the village, inside the gates. I run into the trees and slowly make my way towards her. She had light blue hair, and beautiful silver and blue armour. She also had a horse. Hmmm, how to play this out? Ugh! There no time for that Autumn! She could be working with Zane! It's a possibility. I sneakily walk to her, not making any sounds below my feet. When I'm a third away, I run towards her ready to swing my sword when I hear someone yell
"WAIT!" I turn my head to see Laurence bolt and place his hand on my sword lowering it. The girl with blue hair looked shocked but already had her sword out, ready to fight.
"She. Isn't. Your enemy" he says between breaths. He turns his head around to the girl behind her "that goes for you too" the girl then growls and places her sword back in her holster.
"This. Is the girl. Dante was talking. About" he said still catching his breath.
"Oh~" I say dumbfounded "And this is why I told Dante to tell me at least their name, that idiot!" I growl. "Oh and ahh. Sorry for almost attacking you" I lean to my side looking at the girl behind him.
"No problem, but I still don't know who you are" she narrows her eyes.
"Likewise" I narrow my eyes, slightly wider then hers. After a while she smirks and Laurence moves out of the way. The girl then puts her hand in front of her.
"Names Katelyn" she says still smirking.
"Nice to meet ya, the names Autumn. But you can call me Aki" I smile and shake her hand.
"So Aki, why haven't I seen you around Phoenix Drop before?" She lifts an eyebrow.
"I could say the same to you" I smirk.
"*Ahem*... I can answer that..." Laurence says. "Because you've been away for so long Lady Katelyn. We had a surprise 'Ninja', and she ended up staying here." He looked at me with a smirk on his face.
" 'Lady'? " I asked.
" 'Ninja'? " she asks me.
"Touché" I said.
After a while of talking I escorted Katelyn to Aphmau's house. I knocked on the door, and a tired Aphmau opened the door.
"*yawn* Good morning Autumn, Laurence, Katelyn. What can I do for- wait! Katelyn!" She basically jumped onto Katelyn and hugged her.
"Oh Kateyln! I missed you so much!" Aphmau squeezed tighter.
"So did I" she smiled and Aphmau let go of Katelyn.
"So, come in!" She greets us all in, but I refuse.
"Lord Aphmau, I'm sorry but I have gate duty."
"Dante said he had it covered for today, he wanted you to meet Katelyn!" She smiled.
"Oh I did, and she is lovely. But I have a lot of stuff on my mind right now. So if you would excuse me" I slightly bow my head. As I look up I see Laurence staring at me from Aphmau's dinning area and I turn around quickly, starting to walk to...who knows where in the village...
-Laurence's POV-
"But I have a lot of stuff on my mind right now. So if you would excuse me" Aki said slightly looking at me as she turned around and walked away. I got up and followed her when Aphmau stopped me.
"Leave her" Aphmau said looking at Aki walking along the cobblestone paths of Phoenix Drop.
"I'm sorry Aphmau, but I can't do that" I sigh. She looks up at me with her beautiful Hazel eyes and smirks at me
"Laurence..."
"Yes?"
"Do you, by any chance, have feelings for her"
"N-no" LAURENCE DONT STUTTER! YOUR STARTING TO SOUND LIKE GARROTH.
"Is that so?" She lifts up an eyebrow.
"Yes, because your the one I have fallen for, my love" I lean closer to her.
"Ha! In your dreams" she puts a hand on my face and pushes my head away. I smirk and remove Aphmau's hand. I then walk out of her house waving goodbye to Aphmau and Katelyn and start to follow Aki. She looked like she was walking in random directions, just looking at her feet as she walked.
-Autumn's POV-
Looking at my feet I keep walking, not knowing where I was going. I start to hear flowing water, signalling that I was near a river of some sort. The soothing noises filled my head and made my mind go blank. My eyes then shot open as I lost balance, and fell over an edge. My body heading towards a river below me....
And BAM! Cliff hanger! I really wanted to put one, so I found an opportunity and took it :3 see ya in the next chapter Lautumn fans! ....that's there ship name....I dunno....BYE!
