Atlanta's P.O.V

"Look mommy!" I say excitedly as I point to all the rides. "I see baby." She laughs as I swing our connected arms back and forth. "Can we ride that ride?" Dallas points to a rollercoaster for kids. Daddy laughs, "You guys can ride all the rides you want. This is a trip for nothing but fun." He says. We all smile big at him and point out all the rides we wanted to get on and all the games we wanted to play. "Okay we can ride three rides and then we go and eat, play a couple of games, ride a couple more rides, then we can call it a day, huh?" Daddy asks all of us. We just nod and soon we were all having a great time...

(Later that night)

"I can't find it!" Dallas begins to panic after everybody's showered and was getting to bed. "I put it in my backpack! It's n-not there any more!" He starts throwing everything out of his bag, looking for something. "Hey, what's wrong bud? What can't you find?" Daddy asked him, kneeling down to his height and gently turning Dallas's body so he can face him properly. "I can't find my race car! My d-dad built it for me and I can't find it! I out it in my backpack!" He begins to get worked up once again. "Hey, we'll find it okay? Just take a deep breath and let's calm down. Okay, when did you put it in your backpack?" He asks him. "W-when we were in the car." He sniffles and wipes his nose. Daddy sighs and grabs his backpack from the floor beside them, looking through it, then looks back at Dallas. "It's not in here bud." He says quietly. Before he can start crying, Houston comes up. "Here Dallas! You accidentally put it in my backpack." He quickly gives Dallas the red race car and climbs into the bed that we were all sharing. "There, you see? Everything's all good now. What do you say to your brother?" Mommy asks him. "T-thank you." Dallas stutters before climbing into the bed beside him as well. Houston just nods, turns around, and shuts his eyes. I glanced at the race car in Dallas's hands and see the bottom. My face scrunches up when I see an 'H' at the bottom. I tap daddy's arm and he smiles lightly and picks me up, kissing my cheek. "You sleepy princess?" He asks. I nod and rub my eyes. "Daddy?" I ask as he sets me down next to Dallas and covers us all up. "Yeah baby doll?" He leans in a little closer to my face so I can ask him. "Why is there an H on Dallas's race car?" He furrows his eyebrows and looks at the bottom of the race car that was in Dallas's hand. His face soon holds an emotion I can't describe, then he leans in close to me and kisses my forehead before saying:
"Because that's Houston's race car."

(Next morning)

"Uh huh! And then my mommy says that monsters aren't real, but I think they are." I nod at Jason, who looks at me and just shakes his head slightly and chuckles. "Monsters don't exist Atlanta." He points out. I nod, "Yes they are because then I wouldn't be scared of them!" I point out. He just shakes his head again and laughs to himself quietly. "Who's that?" He points to Houston and Dallas feeding the ducks with mommy right outside the lobby she told me to wait in with Jason. "Those are my new brothers!" I say excitedly. He gives me a strange look. "New brothers?" He asks. I nod, "Uh huh- we adopted them yesterday... their daddy was sad though." I say. He just shrugs and eats some chips from his bag of Cheetos. "Well anyone's mom and dad that care about them would be sad too if they lost their kids." He points out. I give him a look and he shrugs. "Where's your dad?" He asks me after a minute of silence. "At work, but he'll be back later on to take us out for dinner." I say. "How come you don't talk about your mommy a lot? I know she passed away, but still." He stiffens beside me and I instantly feel bad. "I-I'm sorry-" he cuts me off by standing up. "It's cool, um, I gotta go." He says. I furrow my eyebrows. "Huh? We were talking though, where are you gonna go?" I ask. "I have a... thing. I just- I can't be here right now. My dad is probably waiting for me anyways." He throws his chips in the trash can beside us and starts to makes his way away from me. "But I-" he cuts me off again. "I'll see you later Atlanta, bye." He waves and runs off. And just like that, I am standing there, alone and confused.
