Atlanta's P.O.V
"You got kicked out." My dads voice stated as he walked in front of all of us since we were now all standing in a horizontal line in front of him. "My kids actually got kicked out of a store... How?" He asks, my mom standing behind him, her arms crossed. "Let's go down the line shall we?" He mocks. "Okay... What happened?" He came up to the twins first. "You have a monster child." "Your son is an idiot." They both say at the same time. He raises an eyebrow and shakes his head, then walking over to Jason who was standing right next to me. "Any inputs daughters boyfriend that I never approved of?" He questions. My mom smacks his back and I glared at him. "Justin." She said. He rolled his eyes, "Well?" He asked. "Yes sir, there was a slight problem with the birthday girl who wasn't really acting like the princess at that moment." He sent a look to Paris who looked down in shame. She hated letting Jason down and she knew she did this time. "Atlanta?" He asks me. I shrug. "It honestly doesn't matter what I say anymore dad because every time I try to tell you anything, Paris will always say the complete opposite and you'll always believe her. So let's just skip all of this and get right to the part where we get to the argument, I go upstairs, you sty downstairs and praise the daughter that actually caused the trouble and we repeat the process almost every day?" I asked. He stares at me. "Is that really what you think goes on?" He asks. "That's what I know goes on dad! Your not supposed to show favoritism with your children but anybody can obviously tell who your favorite is. Congratulations." I say and run upstairs. "Baby come on!" Jason jogged after me. I appreciated it but I just wish it was my father that was chasing after me....
Justin's P.O.V
"So.. Right at this moment, don't even think twice about it, who is your favorite child?" Dallas asks. We all look at him, our eyes squinted. "Shut up!" We all said. I groaned and walked over the couch, my head in my hands. "Daddy?" Paris comes up to me. "What is it baby girl?" I sighed and looked up at her. Her head was hanging low. "I'm sorry." She sniffles. I furrow my eyebrows and pull her closer to me by her arms. "Sorry for what baby? What happened?" I asked her. "I-I was acting up in the store and n-now Jason is mad a-at me." She breaks down crying. I pull her on to my lap and wrap my arms around her. "Shh no baby girl, Jason isn't mad at you and neither is mommy or daddy. We are very disappointed in you though because you acted up and because you didn't tell us when you got home and made everybody else get in trouble. So I want you to apologize to everybody, even Jason, and then go up to your room for a little bit, yes sir?" I asked her gently. She sniffles and nods. "Y-yes sir." "Alright." I say and kiss her cheek and watches as she goes up to Amber. "Im sorry mommy!" She throws her arms around ambers waist and amber strokes her hair. "It's okay baby, but you do as your daddy says so we can think of a punishment for you." She says. Paris nods then slowly makes her way over to the twins who were watching the whole scene unfold. "Got anything you want to say?" Houston smirked. I sent a glare their way but they didn't even acknowledge me. "I'm sorry." She mumbled and hugged both of their legs. "I forgive you, but I hope you don't expect us to take you to any more stores with us any time soon." Dallas says. She pouts but soon runs upstairs while the twins went outside to play basketball with each other. "Do I really treat Atlanta the way she says I do?" I asked Amber. She sighs and slowly makes her way over to me and I pull her down on to my lap by her waist. "You haven't really been treating her like your baby doll since Paris came along." She whispered. I throw my head back, "So it's true? I'm the problem?" I asked. She nods slightly. "Yup, and she's up stairs getting the comfort she's been craving from you, by Jason. And you're the one always wondering why she's been drifting away but really-" "I'm the one pushing her away." I cut her off and sigh. "I think it's about time I get my relationship back with my daughter." I say and kiss her temple before lifting her off of me carefully and setting her down beside me. "Thanks baby." I say before jogging up the stairs as well. When I get to Atlanta's room, I notice that the door is open a little bit more than slightly and Paris is inside talking to them, probably apologizing. I stay quiet and watch the scene before me take place. "I already said it's okay Paris, just quit acting like such a brat and most of everyone's problems will be solved." Atlanta groaned. Paris just nods slowly, though her head was still hanging low as she drags her feet so she's in front of Jason who was sitting on the computer chair beside Atlanta's bed. "I-I'm sorry j-Jason! I- I don't want you t-to be mad at m-me!" She cries. Jason leans forward in the chair and grabs Paris' cheeks and makes her look up at him. "Paris, I'm not mad at you princess. I was disappointed and upset at the way you were acting because I thought princesses are suppose to act nice and civilized? And you know you weren't acting much princess like today, right?" He gives her a stern look. She nods and I see the tears slowly running down her face. He wiped them away with his thumbs and brought her into a hug. "No more acting up?" He asks. "No more." She sniffles into his shoulder. He smiled and pulled her away from him and looked her in the eyes. "That's my girl." He smirks and kisses her cheek gently. She blushes cutely and I see Atlanta smiling at the sight as her little sister quickly ran right out of the room and right past me. I take in a breath before opening the door slowly. Both of them look up to me when they hear the door open. "Okay, so I'll be... Somewhere that's not here." Jason mumbles and gets up to awkwardly walks past me to get out of the door. I close the door behind him and turn around to face Atlanta. I let out a quiet sigh before slowly making my way over to her and sitting down beside her. It was quiet. "Hey." I say. "Hi." She replies back. I lean my head back and groan. "So, I know that lately I haven't been the same with you-" "Since Paris was born." She cuts me off. I stare at her and she shrugs sarcastically. "Since Paris was born." I narrow my eyes at her a little bit. "And I'm sorry. I'm so sorry for everything I've ever did or said that has ever hurt your feelings. I'm sorry for not always being there for you but I promise I'm better and I'm here now. I just- I don't know what happened." I whispered. "It's like one minute you're six years old asking me why the sky is blue or coming up to me and sitting down right beside me and won't move until I give you cuddles and kisses. Then it's like we're screaming at each other and arguing over every little thing and you're already in high school. It's scary." I say. I look up at her and see her looking down on the floor. "Please say something." I whisper. He lip was wobbling and I could tell she was trying not to have a beak down. I grab her though and pull her into a tight embrace. "Let it out baby girl, it's not healthy to keep it all in for so long." I whisper against her head. She let out sobs and cries that broke my heart but I held her through it. "You haven't called me anything since Paris was born. No nicknames, only my real and actual name and it hurt to hear you always call Paris your princess or baby and all that because I thought you just replaced me." She sobs out. My shirt was getting wet but I honesty couldn't care less at that point. "No no no, I'm so so sorry. It was all a huge mistake. One that won't happen again. I promise you." I whispered. "I miss you." She cried. I felt something wet on my cheek and notice I was crying too. I quickly wipe my eyes and sniffle once before closing my eyes tightly as I held my daughter in my arms. My first born child. I hadn't realize how long it's been since she was last in my arms but it was way too long. I held her tighter.
"I missed you to baby doll."
