**I don't own the Lumineers, I'm just a fan!**

SCARLETT POV

After I came home from the hospital I was in huge trouble. But it's finally been three weeks and my grounding was over. As soon as my dad handed me my phone back, I called Calum. He answered in like two rings and I practically screamed into the phone. "I'm free!!" I cheered into the phone. I could hear him chuckle into the phone. "I can hear that, do you want to do something today?" He asked.

"Like what?" I asked my boyfriend. "Well, Uncle Kent and I may have already gotten clearance to take you to that concert you've been dying to see." He said casually. "Wait what? You got me tickets to see the Lumineers?" I asked excitedly. "Yep, get ready baby!" He said proudly.

I hung up with Calum and spun around my room. I was finally getting a chance to be a normal teen for once.

--BREAK---

A few hours later I was ready for the concert. I straightened my long blonde hair and made a crown braid on my hear. I then put on a pair of high waisted jean shorts, a floral shirt and a black fringe vest. I heard a knock at my door as I applied a coat of lip gloss.

"Come in!" I called, assuming it was Calum. "Wow." I heard my father say. I turned around to find my father dressed in casual clothes, eyeing my outfit. "You look... mature." He commented, a frown across his face. I look down at my outfit self-consciously, "What's wrong with it?" I asked. "Nothing, nothing love. It's just I can't believe how grown up your becoming." He said with a sad smile. "I'll always be your girl Dad." I assured him and he pulled me in tightly.

"So what I really came for was to give you a run of how tonight will be. Kent and Beck are coming, and you are listen to everything they say, and you must stay in sight of them, always. Got it?" He said. I nodded, "Thank you so much for letting me do this." I told him. "Well we know you'll be safe, and when you got hurt and I learned of why you were so upset, and knowing I caused you to be in high security, well it broke my heart." He said, looking down. "Dad, I was just upset, I love you and I love how happy this job makes you." I told him. He smiled and kissed the crown of my head.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door, "Come in!" I called again, and this time it was my boyfriend who walked through the door. Calum looked cute in black jeans, and a red button up quarter sleeve shirt that clung to his large muscles. He smiled at me, "You look great!" He complimented. "You too." I replied.

"Are you ready to go?" He asked and I nodded, standing up from the seat my Dad and I were sitting on. "Wait!" Dad called, stopping us. "I need to take a picture." He said, pulling out his cell phone. I blushed and rolled my eyes playfully, "Hey, it's rare you get to do things like this, and a father is entitled to embarrassing their child once in a while." He teased. I smiled and Calum wrapped a huge arm around my shoulder, and I just smiled. "Okay, now go and have fun!" He said. I smiled up at Calum as he laced his fingers with mine and we headed out to the concert.

CALUM POV

The club was packed when we got there, but being with Scarlett, we slid right on in. The club was dark and cozy. Pictures of other famous musicians who had played at the venue were framed along the walls. The stage was small and intimate, but in the way Scarlett looked around, the place seemed huge. Her eyes sparkled, her face was brighter, and more beautiful than ever.

The Lumineers got to the stage right on time and started their set list. Uncle Kent and Beck were around us but also gave us some space, though we were alone in a radius of the two guards.

Scarlett was swaying and softly singing all the lyrics, getting completely entranced into the whole thing. I wrapped my arms around her small waist, leaning my chin on her head. I could feel her lean in closer to me. "Thank you." She said softly, taking her eyes off the stage for only a moment. "You're welcome," I replied back. "This has been the best night of my life." She said, and I couldn't help but blush, knowing I had make this happen. I smiled at her, "Me too love, me too."
