Chapter 7

ALICE'S POV:

I nervously awaited for the phone call all day. Checking my phone every few minutes. Did I tell them the right number? Maybe I don't want them to call me, what if I didn't get it? As I was thinking this I was watching tv with Ross and Riker. The others were out somewhere. Then my phone went off. I just stared at it in shock for a second.

"Well answer it!" Riker said, breaking me out of my trance. I quickly picked up my phone and clicked accept.

"Hello?" I said.

"Hi is this Alice Montgomery?" Marcus asked

"Sure Is!" I chirped. He chuckled

"I see you haven't lost your cuteness over night."

"Uh no." I said getting impatient.

"Well I just called to tell you that you got the part as Selena!" He said.

"Really? Thank you so so so so much!" I beamed. Riker and Ross' faces were covered by huge smiles.

"No problem, you were perfect for the role." He said "We start shooting in January."

"Great! Thank you!" I said again. He laughed

"Bye Alice."

"Bye!" I said ending the call. I was immediately hugged by Ross and Riker.

"Congratulations Alice!" Ross said excitedly.

"Thanks!" I smiled

"You're gonna be more famous than Ross now." Riker smirked.

"We'll see." I smirked too.

"Ugh my brother and my girl are teaming up on me." Ross pouted. He's so stupid!

"She's your girl?" Riker asked confused, a hint of anger in his tone.

"Yeah she's my gurrrrrl." Ross covered "Inside joke." Riker looked unconvinced for a second before letting it slide.

"So how about we throw a party for you?" Ross suggested.

"You guys don't have to do that." I said.

"We atleast need to get some cake." Ross said. I think he just wanted some cake.

"Fine we can get a cake." I agreed.

"Great!" Riker said grabbing the car keys "Lets go!"

"Can I drive?" Ross asked as he put his shoes on.

"No, I don't feel like dying today." Riker said.

"I'm a great driver." Ross stated.

"What ever you say dude." Riker said ruffling his younger brother's hair.

"Alllliiicccee." Ross complained. I smirked.

"Riker can drive and you can sit in the back, you are the youngest."

"By a month!" Ross whined as he got in the back seat of the car.

"And a half." I added. When we got to the bakery we decided on chocolate cake with vanilla icing. My favourite. Riker got the baker to write "Congrats Alice" in icing on top of the cake. By the time we got back everyone was home.

"Ooh cake!" Ratliff said "What's the occasion?" Riker and Ross smiled at me.

"I got the part!" I exclaimed. I was soon engulfed in more hugs.

"So let's have some of this cake." Rocky rubbed his hands together.

"Not before dinner!" Stormie yelled from the kitchen.
