ALICE'S POV:
Rita zipped up my dress and stepped away from the mirror so I could fully see my outfit for the movie premiere. To be honest I really couldn't care less about what I looked like. I was too excited that I'd get to see Ross again after 3 months! Ok maybe I cared a bit. First I examined my hair and make up. Theresa had curled my hair while Rita did my makeup which consisted of foundation, blush, sparkly lip gloss, eye liner, gold eyeshadow and mascara. Then I looked at my dress. It was short and white with gold sequins embroidered through out the bodice. The bottem flared out to about mid thigh. Continuing with the trend it was a Sherri Hill dress. My eyes travelled down to my shoes which were gold sparkly pumps that we about 5 1/2 inches tall making me about 5'7". Yeah. I'm short.
"Ok Alice you have to go out now." Theresa said opening the door for me.
"Thanks guys!" I smiled at my stylists. I have both of them a hug before bouncing to the red carpet. The second I stepped on the carpet I was blinded by cameras flashing. I walked over to the edge to meet some fans. I waved at them and took pictures with them. It was an awesome feeling to know I have fans. I continued down the carpet, my eyes focusing on a blonde head. Through all of this madness I knew it was Ross. I rushed over to him. But I was stopped by some people wanting a picture with Emma, Josh and I. I looked back at Ross before reluctantly agreeing. After a couple different poses we were done and I continued over to Ross. He turned around and he saw me too. A smile spread across his face. When we met we wrapped our arms around eachother. Not caring that we were in the middle of the carpet.
"I missed you so much!" He said.
"I missed you too." I smiled widely at him "Let's never stay apart from eachother that long again ok?"
"Ok." He smiled back. That was when I realized we were still on the carpet and there were hundreds of pictures being taken of us. I pulled away from him and blushed. Then our names were called. I turned my head to the source of the noise, we were being called over for an interview. Ross grabbed my hand and we walked over to them. They asked us a couple questions before we were wisped away in the craziness of the carpet. 20 minutes later I was in the theatre, getting ready to watch the movie. There were some speeches by Marcus, the director, Emma and Josh before I was called up. I gave Ross a hug before I started walking to the front. I smiled at the crowd.
"Hi everyone! I'm Alice Montgomery!" I waved at the crowd and I was met with applause.
"I'm so excited for everyone to see the movie, it'll be the first time I see the whole thing too." I paused "This whole experience has been so surreal and amazing! If you were to ask me a little more than a year ago if I thought I'd ever be up here talking to room full of people, famous people I might add, I would've said no way!" I paused as the crowd cheered. "I would like to thank some people for helping me through this journey. Of course Marcus McGuire for having so much faith of some random girl he saw on the street." The crowd laughed "I would like to thank Ross, Riker, Rydel, Ryland, Rocky, Mark and Stormie Lynch for just being amazing in every way possible, Ellington Ratliff for always having high spirits, I'd like to thank my grandma for sticking with me when the rest of my family didn't." Oh no I wasn't supposed to say that. "And I'd also like to thank the amazing cast, I love you guys!" I said quickly. "And yeah I hope you like the movie!" I smile at the crowd once more before rushing off the stage and back to my spot.
"Good job!" Rydel smiled at me. I just shook my head and took my seat next to Ross. How could I do that? Especially now that dad and I are on ok terms? Ross was about to saw something but the lights went down and the huge screen filled up with a picture of my face. Ugh why did they have to start the movie off like this? The rest of the movie was fine, well for me. Ross protectively put his arm around my shoulder and looked away when ever Josh and I kissed. The movie ended at the scene I auditioned with. The one where I was saying goodbye to everyone because I was going to kill myself. The credits started playing and everyone in the crowd cheered, I noticed it got increasingly louder when my name was there. They liked me! We stayed for the after party where many people told me how good I was. It was the end of the after party and I was listening to Marcus make a speech when somebody grabbed me from behind.
"Hi Ross." I smiled, knowing it was him.
"Is this almost over?" He whined "I want some alone time with you." I blushed at his words.
"Yes Ross, it's almost over." I rolled my eyes. 20 minutes later we were racing up to his bedroom.
*****
When I woke up Ross was still asleep. I slowly got out of bed, trying not to wake him up. I threw on one of his shirts and a pair of his athletic shorts that were really like capris on me. I walked downstairs to see Riker, Rydel, Stormie and Mark watching tv. I heard my name. It was the women on the tv. I raced to the couch and plopped down to see what she was saying.
"Yesterday was the premiere of the new movie "Girl Meets Hollywood" featuring Emma Stone, Josh Hutcherson and introducing Alice Montgomery." The woman said to the camera before turning to her co host. "Now what did you think of Alice, Derek?"
"I think Taylor Swift better look out cause America has got a new Sweetheart!" He exclaimed "She was perfect as the role of Selena! She's sweet, innocent, not to mention adorable. How tall do you think she is?" The woman thought for a moment.
"She can't be more than 5 feet." She decided "She's a tiny little thing." I laughed at their words.
"Yes she is." The man laughed in a way only anchormans could "She already has a huge fan base called Alicenauts and she's getting virtually no hate!"
"Well how could you hate her? She's a little bundle of joy! Have you seen her interviews?" The woman exclaimed. "Now we have a picture of her and her boyfriend Ross Lynch meeting on the red carpet." A picture of Ross and I hugging filled the screen, I blushed.
"Yes." The man nodded "Ross was just away on tour with his band and I believe they were reunited on the carpet."
"They are too cute!" The women gushed "Now that is true love!"
"It is indeed." He nodded "Now let's talk about her speech before the movie because someone's going to have to." The women nodded her head.
"For our viewers who don't know what we're talking about, during her speech she said "I would like to thank my grandma for sticking with me when the rest of my family didn't." Now what do you suppose that means Derek?" She asked. I got up and walked to the kitchen, I didn't want to hear this. A couple seconds later Rydel joined me.
"They love you Alice!" She gushed. I nodded my head.
"Then why are you so down?" She asked. I took a deep breath.
"How could I call my parents out like that? In front of all those people! And now they're talking about it on TV!" I exclaimed. Rydel swiftly walked over to me and engulfed me in a hug.
"Sweetie it's ok! Everyone was just focusing on how adorable you are." She reassured me "No one is going to remember it in a couple days." I nodded my head, She was probably right.
"Thanks Delly, what would I do without you?" I smile at her.
"No problem Alice." She smiled. "Now how about we go out and see how famous you are?"
