Me and Ty pulled up to my house, it was Sunday and we always had dinner with my entire family. I hopped out the driver side and went to open Ty's door, even though he acts like he hates when I do this I know he doesn't. We got in the house and saw my brother Tion sittin on the couch. When he saw me and Tyson he smiled an shook his head.

"I'ma go find mom." Tyson said walking towards the kitchen. I sat down on the couch next to Tion and waited for him to start. For the longest time he didn't say anything, but I knew better he was thinkin bout what he was going to say to me and what I was going to say back, and a response to that as well.

"So Baby Bro, did you and Tyson's dad have that discussion again." I had to choose my next words carefully, Tion wasn't the type of person that didn't settled for short answers, I knew if I answered then I would have to explain every little detail of me and Mr. Brown's conversation.

"Yeah we did and I gave him the same answer as the first three times he asked. Nothin is worth losing Tyson, Tion. I love him to much."

"But Baby Bro, that's a lot of money it could really help us out, and I know you love Tyson. Everybody does, and I know you don't wanna lose him and truthfully you don't have to." I looked at Tion like he was crazy, his eyes met mine and I had to break my gaze. I was scary how much we looked alike.

"What are you talking bout T?" I asked.

"Look how bout you get Tyson to pretend ya'll broke up you collect the money and ya'll can continue to see each other secretly."

"Tion it's not that simple, Mr. Brown knows more about me than even I realized. He know everything; he knows about mom being sick, he knows where mom works, what doctor she goes to, hell he even knows about our side operation. Tion this dude know everything about us. If me and Tyson tried to pull something like that he would know." Tion sat there for a minute without saying anything, but I could see the wheels turning in his head looking for another way around it. After five minutes of total silence he spoke.

"Seven." He never called me by my name he always called me Baby Bro it was our thing, and he was the only one aloud to call me that. So when he called me Seven I knew it was serious. "Seven mommy is worst then you know, she........ they don't think she has long left. We weren't supposed to tell you because she didn't want you worrying, but Seven you need to know. That's why I've been pressuring you so hard. But it's your decision, I won't ask anymore." Tion stood up and walked towards our room. I could see it in his eyes he was on the brink of losing it, and he was only trying to be strong for me. I sat in the living room until Tyson, Tion's twin Tiana, and my mom walked in there. I looked at my mom and felt my eyes slowly fillin with tears, but I hurried up and brush them away.

"Boy why didn't you come in there and tell me you were bring Tyson over." My mom said walking over to me and slappin me in the back of the head. I smiled It was hard to tell that she was even sick , but that's how it be sometimes.

"My bad mom I was talkin to T."

"Ya'll two are always talking bout something I swear there ain't that much to talk about in the world."

"I know ya'll probably was up to know good." Tiana said. I swear she got on my fuckin nerves, but her and Tyson were like best friends.

"Whatever Tiana. So mom what's for dinner?" I asked tryin to change the subject from me and Tion.

"Well since you didn't come talk to me when you got home your going to have to wait. Now come on ya'll two." My mom said, to Tyson and Tiana.

"Where ya'll going?" I asked. But instead of answering they just walked out the house leaving me to my thoughts.
