I sat across from Derrick this was our third time meeting up since he's been back. We sat in Applebee's right after school since this was the only time I could see him, because the rest of the time I was with Seven.... Seven I still hadn't told him that Derrick was back and that I've been talking to him, but I knew sooner or later that I would have to tell him. I looked over at Derrick, his deep brown skin, spinning waves I was so glad to see he cut his dreads, muscular arms with tattoos going up both of them. Despite our past Derrick was still sex ass hell. Derrick smiled at me and I got lost in his dazzling white smile.

"So Gabriel, you still haven't answered my question." Derrick said picking up some fries and putting them in his mouth.

"And which question would that be Derrick?" I asked playing dumb.

"Come on Gab don't play dumb, you know what question I'm talking bout. Did you miss me when I left?" Derrick asked looking me in my eyes.

"Honestly yeah I did...... but I missed Seven more when you sent him to jail. You remember that don't you?" I asked.

"Man that shit happened like 4 or 5 years ago Gabriel, and I'm sorry for sending Seven to jail. But I was pissed that nigga was stealing the love of my life from me and I figured if I got that nigga out the picture then you would come back to me."

"You know what Derrick, maybe if you didn't cheat on me so much maybe I would've never had to spend so much time with Seven. You were my first everything, I loved you so much but you were a cheater, you were jealous of Seven, and you put your hands on me."

"Man Gab that was once and I was drunk. But your right I didn't treat you like you should have been treated, and for that I apologize." Derrick said sincerely.

"I accept your apology." I said. We started eating and talking bout random shit when I heard I bunch of dudes laughing and joking as they walked into Applebee's. My heart stopped when I noticed Iran, Izayah, Jackson who looked just like the singer Sammie, Gino little light skinned ass, and most importantly Seven. They were all wearing they're jerseys except Izayah, damn Seven looked so damn good.

"Gabriel who you looking at?" Derrick asked loudly. Seven and Izayah looked up at the sound of my name Seven's eyes connected with mine. I saw the anger in Seven's eyes and the confusion in Izayah's. Seven said something to the others and they went to their table and Seven walked over to our table. Seven looked at me then at Derrick, then what he did next surprised the fuck outta me, he lend down and kissed me on the lips.

"What's up babe, you still coming over later?" Seven asked.

"Umm yeah unless you don't want me to?" I said looking at him.

"Why wouldn't I, but look I'll see you later aight enjoy your meal." Seven said kissing me again and walking away. I looked at Derrick who looked amused and pissed at the same time. \

"So you with that nigga now?" Derrick asked.

"I thought I told you that already?" I asked.

"Nah you said you were talking to somebody you didn't say Seven." Derrick said.

"I don't see where it matters Derrick."

"It matters a lot Gab, you know how I feel about that nigga. Then he had the audacity to come over here and kiss you right in front of me like he didn't know who the fuck I was. I swear to God I wanted to beat his ass right then and there."

"What's stopping you?" Seven asked from behind Derrick. Damn neither one of us even heard him walk up.

"Man you better go somewhere with that shit Seven ain't nobody even worried about you." Derrick said avoiding eye contact.

"I mean Derrick you was just talking all that shit, plus I already owe you and ass whooping so I mean what stopping." Seven said getting louder.

"Man Sleven I'm not even bout to entertain you can't you see I'm on a date?" Derrick said smiling at Seven.

"Seven we're not on a date." I said getting pissed.

"It's coo Gab we'll talk later right now I'm talking to ole boy, if I remember correctly last time you tried some shit with me I beat your ass, so let's see if history will repeat itself." Before Seven could swing on Derrick, Iran and Jackson grabbed him.

"Come on Sev........ man let it go." Jackson said

"Aight I'm coo. Gabriel I'll see you in an hour." Seven said leaving with his friends.

"Derrick why do you always have to cause drama."

"Because I still love you Gabriel, and I won't stop at anything until your mine again." I started to go off on him when I got a text from Seven.

SEVEN: I'M NOT MAD BUT WE DO NEED TO TALK............

ME: OKAY I'LL BE ON MY WAY IN LIKE 15

"Derrick this was fun but I gotta go." I said putting my money on the table and getting up.

"Gabriel look I'm sorry but you gotta understand I still love you."

"And I love somebody else." I said walking away.
