Me and Seven went out to my back yard to play basketball, this was probably the first one on one me and Seven have had since all that shit went down with him and Tion so I was trying to see where his head was at. See what was going on between him and Gabriel, and to see what he really thought about Tyson.
"So Seven what's up I really haven't got a chance to talk to you in a while." I said dribbling the ball.
"Aww what's wrong baby you miss daddy?" Seven said stealing the ball and laughing. I watched as Seven dunked the ball and made this big ass show screaming talking bout he's the king of the court. Seven passed me the ball and got on defense. "What's the matter Zay get your head in the game." Seven said smiling. We ended up playing for about an hour and we were tied.I decided to embarrass this nigga and end the game. I crossed Seven so bad by the time I made it the rim head was just hitting the ground.
"Damn Seven what happened?" I said laughing. "I thought you were the king of the court." I said still laughing at him.
"I am." Seven said laying on his back.
"Yeah right kid. Your court may actually be a field, I'm the king of basketball stick to football my young student." I said sitting next to Seven. "I win." For the longest time and Seven just sat there.
"Ayy Zay can I ask you something?" Seven said sitting up. I looked at him and could tell he was about to get serious.
"Hold on let me put my serious face on. Okay son what's going on?" I said trying to sound like a parent.
"Seriously Zay." Seven said laughing.
"Nah what's up bro?"
"Zay I still love Tyson and I'm confused about my feeling for Gabriel. I don't know if there real or if I just want them to be. I mean don't get me wrong I love Gabriel, but I don't know if I'm 'in love' with him." As much as I wanted to smile but I couldn't not in front of Seven, this was the silver lining I was looking for.
"Seven you gotta talk to Tyson. I mean I think you're stupid ass fuck for still loving that nigga after everything he's done but I guess love doesn't have to make sense right? But what are you going to tell Gabriel don't you think he has a right to know how you feel." I asked.
"Yeah but Gabriel has always loved me since we were little, but I'll think he'll understand. He's always had my best interest at heart."
"Yeah true. So Seven what are you going to do about that nigga Fabian. That nigga wants Tyson so bad it's depressing. You better tell Tyson before that high yellow man turn Tyson's ass out." I suppressed a laugh at the look of annoyance on Seven's face.
"Well I need a reason to beat his ass anyway, so how bout you invite that dude to the party." Seven paused for a minute. "And Tyson to I'll tell him how I really feel then."
"Yeah you should beat his ass did I tell you he came up to me one day talking bout 'me and you could help each other.' I shut that shit down real quick."
"Help each other do what?" Seven asked laughing.
"He wanted my help to get Tyson. But I don't like that nigga so why would I help him."
"That's why I fuck you Zay................" Seven got real quiet. "Zay can I ask you something else?" I started laughing again.
"Do I need to put my serious face again?" I said laughing.
"Yeah you might want to."
"Aight bro go ahead and ask." I said getting serious.
"I was talking to Iran and I asked him why were you so upset about him throwing a party in your parents house. And he told me that you only let people you really care about in there...... and he kinda told me about Aaron. I just wanted to know what happened?" I looked at Seven my best friend besides Iran, deciding on how much should I tell him. I picked the basketball up and started dribbling again. "Zay you don't have to tell me if you don't want to."
"Nah I'm just thinking about where to begin." I said shooting the ball and watching it go in.
"Well how bout how ya'll met?" Seven asked.
"Aight it's a long sad story you think you got the time." Seven sat down on the bench and waited.
"Aight I just it was the first day of freshmen year....................." As sat next to Seven and went back, back to the day my life changed forever.
