When Izayah told me Seven wanted to see me, I was happy, nervous, sad, and what ever other emotions I was feeling at the time this would be the first time I've even seen Seven since that night on his porch. Thinking back on that night I felt like shit, I acted really childish and immature. But now was my chance to make things right or at least get back on good terms with him. The day we were supposed to be meeting I kept looking at the clock waiting for the time when I was supposed to meet him, when there was only two hours left I started feeling even more nervous, so I decided to call Ty'ree. He had been the person I've leaned on the most since finding out the truth.
"What's up little bro." Ty'ree said from the other side.
"Ty'ree I don't think I can do this, I mean what if he doesn't show, or what if he doesn't have anything to say to me, or what if he................."
"Tyson calm down. Look the reason ya'll are meeting is so ya'll can talk. When you see him let him talk then you talk, don't play any games. Just talk. It'll be aight, now calm down. Take a deep breath and relax." I did what he told me and started to feel a little better.
"Thanks Ty'ree." I said quietly.
"No problem Tyson , look when you finally talk to dude, be real with him. Because from what you told me, he's going to be real with you. Don't get mad at anything he tells you, and don't judge him."
"Alright, when are you moving down here?" I asked changing the subject.
"I'll be down there later this week to start moving the first of my shit." Tyree said.
"I'm so glad your moving down here."
"That's another thing I wanted to talk to you about, Tyson if you ever want a place to stay or just get away from your parents my door is always open."
"Thanks Ty'ree, I..............."
"Why are you thanking me, that's what big brothers are supposed to do. But look I gotta go my girl just pulled up. I'll talk to you later lil bro."
After Tyree hung up I decided to go meet with Seven. The whole ride over there was sweating bullets I was so nervous, each step I made towards the restaurant I felt my feet get heavier. I walked in and saw him already sitting there. He was looking at the menu, but I could tell he wasn't really reading it. I slowly walked over to the table and before I got completely to him he looked up and saw me. He stood up, walked over to me and pulled me into a hug. Immediately I fell in love all over again he was wearing my favorite cologne, and wearing all black. My favorite color.
"Hey Seven." I said in his ear. I felt a tear fall on my shoulder. I stepped back and looked at him. He had tears in his eyes and so did I.
"Sup Ty." He said flashing me his sexiest smile. "Let's sit down." We sat down and just looked at each other.
"Are ya'll ready to order?" The waiter asked.
"Nah can we have a few minutes." I said. After the waiter walked away, I started. "So how have you been?" I asked.
"Tyson what happened with us? I mean we were good then I fucked up by going in that room with Raymond, but then it was like you didn't want anything to do with me."
"Seven when I thought you cheated on m with Raymond it was like my perfect image of you was shattered and it was hard for me to except that you were with him."
"But I tried and I tried to get you to forgive me, but you just wouldn't."
"I know I was being childish and I feel horrible about it, I played you and all my friends because I was to scared to accept the truth."
"Aight so where do we go from here?" Seven asked.
"I don't know, because truthfully I'm feeling confused about a lot of things. Like what happens if we get back together my family we'll probably just keep trying to get us to break up, and maybe this time they'll try even more under-handed methods."
"Are ya'll ready to order." The waiter said outta no where. Me and Seven placed our order just so he wouldn't keep coming back.
"Yeah, I'm confused too. I mean I've been talking to somebody and I don't really know were going with our friendship." I tried not to be hurt but he still saw the pain in my eyes. "It's not like that Ty we're just friends but............. But I am feeling him."
"What's his name?" I asked.
"His name is Gabriel, and I've known him since we were little. Ty, I'ma be honest with you and tell you I still love you, I never stopped but you hurt me really bad, probably not as much as I hurt you but................."
"I know Seven you don't have to say anymore I................." The words escaped my throat. I'm glad to because just then our food got there.
"Let's just start out as friends, then we'll see if we can slowly rebuild our relationship."
"I would really like that." Seven walked over to my side of the table and sat down.
"Tyson?"
"Yes Seven?" I said quietly.
"Let me get a bite of this." He said sticking his fork in my food.
"Move Seven you play too much." I said laughing. He went back to his side of the table and started eating his food.
"So were friends now?" Seven asked.
"I guess so. But you better not try to make us friends with benefits." I said laughing.
"That's going to be hard considering the last person I actually fucked was you." Seven said. Damn that had to be like eight months ago.
"Seven you really haven't had sex in like eight months?" I asked.
"Yea but maybe that will change in the next few weeks." Seven smile suggestively.
"Who knows maybe you will." I smiled back. I didn't know why, maybe it was because I found out he was feeling somebody else, that I was more determined than ever to get him back.
