I woke up in a familiar place.
"Where am I??" I asked out loud not expecting anyone to answer me.
"Maxie... you're awake." A familiar voice said brushing back the stray hair from my face.
"Jayce??" I asked.
"Yeah I'm here; I've missed you." He said hovering over me.
Jayce stood up and sat on the bed next to where I was laying.
"I've missed you too." I said.
He leaned over me and kissed me softly.
I broke the kiss quickly with other important things on my mind.
"Who was that guy??" I asked looking into his eyes.
"My dear, what guy do you mean??" Jayce asked.
"The guy with the gun." I said sitting up and bit.
"Do you mean the guy that brought you here??" Jayce asked.
"Yes that one." I said.
"Well, his name is..." Jayce began.
"My name is Leo.
The large man that took me stood there in the doorway glaring at me slightly.
"I thought that I should introduce myself..." He said looking at Jayce.
"I told you that you'd find out soon enough." Leo said turning toward me.
"Yeah I guess you did... but I was too scared to give a crap." I said.
"I'm sorry that you were scared Maxie, but I needed you here." Jayce said.
"I understand that... but... I don't know... I guess it is all over with now." I said.
"It is don't you worry." Jayce said.
"Leo you are dismissed... I need to catch up with my gorgeous fiance." Jayce said.
"As you wish." Leo said leaving the room.
"Does he work for you??" I asked in curiosity.
" Yes indeed; But not for me... He works for my father." Jayce said.
"Oh that reminds me." He said.
"Father wants to see you around noon." Jayce said.
"Oh ok... what time is it now??" I asked.
"It's ten o' clock." He replied.
Jayce got into the bed with me and we just laid there for a second.
"I knew that we'd get you back." Jayce said.
"What do you mean??" I asked.
"I just had faith... " He said.
"Yeah... Jayce??" I asked.
"Yes??" He asked.
"What happened to my brother and Dr. Green??" I asked.
"They're fine... I am making sure that Dr. Green forgets everything that he had saw but your brother wasn't given any information except that you were gone." Jayce explained.
"Oh okay good." I said.
"Yes... but I'm sorry to leave you my dear, but you must take a shower and get ready." Jayce said.
"Yes... but Jayce I have nothing to change into." I said.
"Check your dresser drawers... I had someone go back to your house and retrieve the things that you need." He said.
