I unpacked everything and put sheets on the bed before I set off to find the library. I passed many doors before I spotted a green door with faded lettering. This could be it. I stuck the key in the lock and turned. The door flung open. I walked into the room. The room was HUGE! It went about 40 feet back with rows and rows of bookshelves. The tall ceilings had a skylight that let in some light but most of the room was dark. There was another bay window with a bench filled with soft pillows. When my shock started to wear off, I started browsing the shelves, looking for some books to quench my thirst for stories.
I picked a few old classics and a few books that I had never seen before. As I was exiting, an old red leather book caught my eye. I walked over to it. I put my other choices down and picked this book up. It had a gold ring with a unicorn's head in the center. No writing however. Maybe it would be interesting. I went back to my room and dug into one of the old books I had never heard of. I must have been completely engulfed in my fantasy world because once I had read it cover to cover, it was already two AM. I yawned and climbed into my bed. I slowly drifted off into a deep sleep.
