Saige Pov:

Clouds of smoke fill the dimly lit room, and everything's a blurry and haze. The music blasts through the speakers, vibrating every corner of the small space with the rhythmic thud of the bass. It's loud enough to drown out my many thoughts and the annoying blonde straddling my lap as she whispers tasteless passes and profanities in my ear.

Her words are slurred and she's drunk out of her mind. Such as everyone else in the small exclusive room. This room, such as many other of the upstairs floor of this Frat-House is filled with nothing but low-lives, drugs, and regrettable sex with strangers .

To sum it up, it's not somewhere I should've chosen to be but I'm here anyway.

"Don't you think we should take this somewhere else? I've been dying to get you all to myself since the second I saw you." The horny blonde who's name slipped my mind awhile ago beckons to me in a lust filled tone.

She plays with the buttons of my all black flannel and I raise my brow in consideration as she gives me a sultry pout. She then begins to roughly trail sloppy kisses from my jawline to my collarbone and tugs at my hair. She makes her way back up to my lips where I then notice she reeks of vodka. She's hot and all, but I'm not feeling any of this shit. I feel nothing tonight, actually.

In my "polite" way of declining, I shove her off me and stand to my feet, stretching my long limbs that have become sore from sitting on the old broken in couch that's covered with stains from whatever the fuck has happened in here.

"You fucking asshole.'' the blonde shouts. "You could have just said no. Didn't have to be a dick. What the hell is wrong with you?" I turn to her as she fumbles  to stand to her feet and continues to  spew anger.

She begins to turn red, possibly from embarrassment of rejections that she must not be used to. Her long blonde locks, tight, barely there dress, and piercing stirling eyes most men fall weak to are glaring at me. Usually I would have gladly taken the bait, but right now I couldn't care less.

''Whatever, to hell with you then. What a shame for a you." she says and waves me off and folding her arms in the process. I smirk.

"Me not reacting to any of the desperate shit you forced on me in the past twenty minutes you've been in my company should've said enough, but I guess not ma'am." Her jaw drops in utter shock and she tries to speak, but I turn to leave, not giving a damn about what she has to say. Getting into some petty altercation with some drunk broad with a smeared face  is not worth my time.

There's only a hand full of people in here, and they're all either high, drunk, or the winning combination of the two. Fucking idiots...but then again, I chose to be in here as well. Oh, the irony of it all.

Becoming irritated with my realization and my own blatant stupidity, I rush to the door, pushing past the few blocking me from the exit. However, when I reach the door I freeze in place.

Out of all places. What the hell caused me to come here?

I let out a huff in annoyance. Fuck this shit, I'm leaving. I grip the door handle and begin to walk out with set intentions on getting out of this shit hole.

As I'm leaving the room, I collide with a giant figure equal to my own.

"Watch where the fuck you--Oh.. I see you've finally come out of hiding.'' he says to me, quickly changing his tone. The bastard made a smart choice.

I'm still dizzy from the secondhand marijuana intake, but I can recognize that irritating voice anywhere. It's Lucas, the host of all of this.

"I was just leaving." I rush the sentence, continuing to maneuver my way past him as he moves his shoulder to let me by.
