Heyyyyyy guyzzzzz... I am sooo sorry, I meant to update two weekends ago, but I'd been so busy with school and projects and tests and quizzes and PALS that I have not had any time to write:( I would say, typically, I will update every two weeks, mainly because I either go on a writing spree, or... Not. So, happy reading! Oh, and I (at least hope!) to post at least two chapters this week and week end, since I'm going on spring break! Yay!! Oh, and the chapters are going to be shorter from now on, so I can get more posting done! Thanks for all your guys' patience.
Dawn's POV"Dang flabbit," Dawn mumbled with a scrunched up face as she stubbed her toe on her bed post, getting ready to head to breakfast. She was going to meet Randall in the common room, and they were going to try and find Grizzy, Max, and Cassidy during breakfast, then she was going to go to her morning classes, go to lunch with her friends, go to afternoon classes (including flying lessons), do homework, meet up with her friends, go to supper, read in the common room, go to bed, and start the next day. Dawn loved to plan.
Dawn ran down the steps into the common room, and saw Randall waiting.
"Well, come on then!" Dawn said as she grabbed Randall's robes and continued walking through the door.
"Oh yeah, you were waiting for me," Randall mumbled under his breath.
**********
Dawn and Randall looked around for their friends. They saw Grizzy sitting at a corner of a table avoiding people, and they waited for Cassidy and Max. Five minutes later (which felt like an eternity for the impatient Dawn), Cassidy and Max came through the doors into the hall.
"What took you so long?" Dawn asked, exasperated.
"Cassidy forgot her tie, and had to run back up and put it on," said Max. "We weren't that late though."
"It was ages!"
"No it wasn't," Grizzy noted. "I was here five minutes before you two, then five minutes later Max and Cassidy came."
"Dawn's impatient," Randall stated.
"AM NOT!"
"Are too," Max, Grizzy, Randall, and Cassidy said in unison. They all laughed.
"Harrumph!" Dawn huffed, defeated. Everyone laughed, even Dawn. After the laughter died down, everyone started eating the toast and pastries on the table. Cassidy took a bite of toast with jam on it, swallowed, and asked a question. "Okay, guys, will you please promise me something?"
They all nodded with full mouths.
"Right. No matter what, we should stay friends. Whether one of our houses beats another at the end of the year, in classes, or other reasons in the future as well, we should stay friends. No matter what."
"Why wouldn't we?" Grizzy replied.
"Always!" Dawn said.
"O' course," Max said between bites of food.
"Right," said Randall.
"Good!" said Cassidy with a smile.Hi guys, so sorry, but few things. 1) Griselda will now be called different things based on whose POV it is, for example now Max will call her Zelda, but Cassidy and Dawn will still call her Grizzy. 2) I'm changing Ran back to Randall, because he'll probably still be addressed by both. I would go back and change all of the nicknames and stuff, but honestly I'm too lazy and tired to do that now. ;) 3) And the question for you all, is do you want Cassidy to be called Cassie, Cass, or Cassidy? You decide! Thanks for being such patient readers, and I'm so sorry for my failures😂.
