--1 MONTH LATER--
*Marie's P.O.V*
"You're finished! Get up!" I ushered Louis out of his seat.
Although only a month had gone by, I realized a lot can change in that period of time.
My life, along with the boys, had become somewhat normal. It was simple, safe, and stable. Many people want to do adventurous and daring things in life, but I've never loved leading such a ordinary life more than I do now.
I had taken the job Louis offered me. It was a good paying job, and opened me up to a lot of good people.
Lou Teasdale, One Direction's original hair stylist, had become a great friend to me. In a way, she was like the older sister I never had. We gossip, go out to lunch, and even sleep over each other's houses like friends usually do. She's introduced me to some of her friends and made me feel welcomed.
She doesn't know about my spy past. No one except for the boys do. I plan on keeping it that way. I don't want to scare off the new friends I've made.
The boys have been good, too. They've started their new tour, and Simon's left them alone, for now.
The boys are like brothers to me. It's crazy just how close we've gotten over this month. We still bicker every now and then, but isn't that how siblings usually act?
It isn't all bad between us. We look out for each other, too. We spend time at each other's houses, and I plan on taking some time off from school and going on tour with them whenever they leave America.
They're goofy, funny, entertaining, talented, stupid, and overall, great friends. Although I might never admit this out loud, I'm glad I met the boys. They turned my life from good, to bad, to worse, to bad, to good again. They brought me on a crazy adventure, and they're 5 of the only people I've truly opened up to.
"Two minutes until show time!" Someone in the room shouted.
The boys scrambled out of the room, grabbing their microphones and ear pieces.
"Thank you!" They all shouted as they left.
"Another successful night," Lou high-fived me. "It's almost the end of the summer. One of these days we need to go out and celebrate!"
I laughed as she began packing up, huffing at the mess in front of her.
"It's great having you on board with us. It makes my life ten times easier and gets the job done faster!" She smiled.
"Anything I can do to help!" I chirped.
"ARE YOU READY?!" We heard Louis bellow from the stage, causing thousands of girls to erupt in screams.
Lou and I continued to clean everything up, making small talk, before we were escorted to the front row to listen to the boys perform.
Girls behind us screamed our names when they saw us, so Lou and I turned back to wave and smile, causing them to shriek in joy.
Ever since I took the job, I've been getting more and more publicity. At first, it scared me to know thats lots of people would always know where I was since the paparazzi were quick to share our location. What if bad, unwanted guests were to find out where I am? Then I remembered how I was surrounded by security and knew how to fight, myself.
They boys often joked how I could've became a part of security. The way I was able to knock Harry out really persuaded them to think that way.
I directed my attention to the boys on stage, and admired how they were happy again. I had to admit, it felt good to be happy. It took being miserable, for me to realize I didn't want to have that kind of attitude again.
I like the life I'm living right now.
I took a minute to think about how each boy impacted my life.
Zayn. I had apologized for hurting him that first day, but we've come to be friends. He's a great listener, he's fun to be around and he's great to lounge out with. He can be quirky and even hard to read sometimes, but it's just like cracking a code.
(Speaking of codes, the ones to Andy Clerk's money are still at the bottom of my desk draw. I intend for them to stay there, too. I'm not into that kind of stuff anymore).
Niall. Niall hadn't bothered me as much as the rest, but he's a lot more fun now. His laugh is contagious and he's always willing to go out and party with me. He's a great guy with a great sense of humor.
Harry. Harry and I didn't get off to a great start when he tried to rape me, but we're beyond that now. Harry's really a sweet and caring person, just with a naughty side. I guess we all need an inappropriate friend, and Harry's my go-to guy for that.
Liam. Liam's always been nice, but I've always been the one to push him away. Not anymore, though. Now he's the first person I go to when I'm having a bad day, or the past comes rushing back. He gives great advice and fills the role my parents would've had, and I can never repay him for that.
Louis. Although Louis and I are most likely the ones to get into a fight, I don't know what I would do without him. He was the one to be my first step to stop my bad ways. He brings out my absolute worst, but he knows how to bring out my best, too.
This life is something I would've never thought I'd have, if you were to ask me a year ago.
This journey would've never made my life complete, if I hadn't been captured.
THE END.
