"I can't! The tree fell and now I can't get into the hole!"

"And whose fault was that?"

"Oh screw you! It was as much my fault as it was yours!"

"Oh please! You were the one running around like an idiot!"

"Can you two stop shouting please? Jinx is trying to take a nap. You remember what happened the last time you woke her up?"

"Uh no." "Not really."

"Exactly."

The Demon and the Shapeshifter were arguing over an event that happened prior to Kira's arrival. She watched as they yelled at one another and threatened one another while the young mermaid tired to calm them down.

"It's not my fault that she dropped a bloody tree on our only underground tunnel!" He shrieked in defense. His blonde hair messy and tousled while his blue eyes were blown wide in anger.

"Tsk! It's not my fault that you couldn't catch it you weakling!" She hissed at him. And they both proceeded to argue over and over again.

"Look," the alpha began. He had come into the room when they started throwing things at one another. Kira sat calmly on the sofa next to the fairy that was playing with water. "It's no ones fault ok. It may have just been an accident or someone could have caused it but right now none of that matters. All that matters is the fact that a tree is covering the tunnel and we need to get some food and some clothes." He started to settle the dispute. Strong alpha pheromones filled the air, forcing everyone to calm everyone down.

"Sorry." Both voices coincided. They both hung their head low in shame at the alpha.

"It's ok. Now we just have to set out and go get the stuff." He explained. He took a seat in the single sofa and crossed his legs.

Jesse looked around the room before landing his eyes on Kira and smiling. "Kira?" He called lightly. She looked up at him and smiled.

"Yes sir?" She replied respectfully.
"How strong are you?" He questioned knowingly.
"Very strong." She replied with a smirk.
"Strong enough the hoist up a tree?" He continued.
"Of course." She shrugged.

"Very well then. I need you and Chase to sneak into the village and get us some necessary items." He ordered. The angel, Chase, nodded his head and began packing certain things like water and spare clothes in a duffel bag.

"We can walk you guys to the tunnel and help but after that I need you to get into the village and get the stuff, ok?" He said. He got up and undressed from some of his clothes.

Kira's eyebrows furrowed, "why can't we all go?" She questioned, not thinking very much ahead.

"A large group of people enter into a village and disappear. People see thing has gone missing and question it. Won't you think they'll come looking for us in large, large packs?" The demon explained.

"Point taken."

"Okay, Tailor and Aquata I need you two girls to come with me too. Hunter and Greyson will stay and take care of Nixie and Jinx. Got it?"

They all nodded in response.

"Wait... What village are you going to?" Kira suddenly sat strait up and asked. Her eyes were widened and her heartbeat quickened. I don't want to go home. Please don't make me go home.

She felt a had rest on her shoulder and instantly calm her down a bit. It was the Angel. He had been the one to sense her distress and hurry forth to comfort her.

"Yes Kira. You will be going to your village... Or the village that your family lives in." The alpha werewolf confirmed. "But do not be afraid. You will have Chase right next to you."

"That's not exactly what I'm afraid of." She murmured.

They had all geared up, taking the necessary things for their little expedition.

"Here. Take this. Drink it." The little mermaid handed her a small vial with a greenish blueish liquid swishing around in it. She took it into her hands and examined it, swishing the liquid back and forth before stopping and looking up at the other girl.

Noticing her uncertainty Aquata spoke up, "Don't worry. Jinx made it for you. It's so you won't have a scent. Just like us."

She then looked down to the vial again. This it. I'm gonna be apart of their pack. I'm officially gonna be just like them.

She popped open the lid and took in a deep breath.

"Wait." She paused for a moment looking at Aquata. "I need to get a lock of your hair. For Jinx!" She squeaked, embarrassed for interrupting an important moment for the other girl.

"Oh... Uhm- that's ok I-I guess." She pulled her hair out of the ponytail she had it in before having about three inches cut off of a couple of strands.

"Perfect. And I must warn you. It might feel... Weird at first but don't worry, you'll be fine." She smiled lovingly, her blue eyes shining with stars in them.

"Aquata?" Kira asked uncertain. The younger girl hummed in response while packing the hair in a piece of cloth and popped it in her bag. "Might I ask why Jinx needs a lock of my hair? Or is it something I'm not allowed to know?"

"Not at all. She gathers our scent, because this potion that you will drink will take away your scent forever... So having something with your natural scent on it is kind of like an antidote. Understand?" The girl explained. A small smile graced her features as she brushed her ginger hair out of her face.

Kira nodded and popped the lid off of the vial. Curiosity urged her to sniff it, but there was no scent coming from the liquid. She sighed and felt her heart spike as she brought the bottle to her lips. She tossed back the bottle and the thick liquid slid down her through, it tasted oddly like metal... More like human blood but leaning closer to rust. She felt her eyes water as the after taste burnt her tongue and she coughed a bit.

The small mermaid pat her back and smiled softly. "You're gonna be okay. I know. It stings huh?"

"Can I have some water?" Kira managed to croak out.

"I'm afraid not right now Kira. Let the potion run its course then I'll give you some water, okay?" She replied to which the female werewolf nodded.

"Now, I need you to turn wolf. Take off what you need to take off. Tailor and Kai should already be ready and waiting for us now." The smaller girl ordered nicely.

"Yes ok." And so she went ahead and did as the girl asked. She removed her clothing and and changed into her wolf.

And so their journey began.
