"Days go on forever,

But I haven not left your side.

We can chase the dark together,

If you go then so will I."

-Anthem Of The Angels by Breaking Benjamin

Props to alysahstar because she helps me get ideas sometimes and she kinda inspired this chapter! So thanks girl! This ones for you!

As early as dawn came they set out again. Kai had contacted them and told them to get to the village quickly. There was a thick fog rolling in and he said it would be a great opportunity to infiltrate the village.

Yes, because they're werewolves they'd be able to see or smell intruders but they won't get alarmed if there's no unknown scent and they won't look if they're not alarmed. See? Win win.

Everything has been going as planned so far.

They had been sneaking around the village for about an hour now. And true to his words there was a thick fog. So thick that if someone stood right ahead of you it would hard to be able to see them. Luckily on days like these, packs didn't allow much people out. Only betas and alphas. Children, women and omegas were not allowed to be outside.

They had seen little to no alphas and hardly any betas patrolling.

Kira sighed deeply as Chase motioned to her, putting a finger at his lips telling her to hush. She did and a familiar beta passed by. She couldn't remember his name now, nor did she care about his name, but he walked by with a bag falling off of his shoulder and a cell phone to his ear. He spoke and laughed in a language she learnt was German.

They kept quiet and waited until he was completely out of sight and werewolf earshot before they moved out again.

"So far this is one of the clearest heists I've been on." He murmured softly to himself.

"Don't speak too soon now." She teased good-heartedly... Or so she wished.

They kept on walking, never letting their guard down and things ran smoothly. They only had one more alleyway to pass through before they were into the woods again. After that it would only be to look for the tunnel back to the rest of the pack.

"Spencer please. Please! You promised!" I voice pleaded making Kira stop dead in her tracks, her blood ran cold as the faint scent reached her nostrils, barely identifiable through the thick fog. She knew that scent.

"I know Ella. I can't do it! I have to kill her!" She knew that voice. In fact, she knew that voice a little too well.
It was the same voice that made all these bad things happen to her. The ones that sometimes haunted her through the darkness off nightmares in her sleep. That same voice who rejected her. The voice that belonged to none other than Spencer Anderson.

Her wolf howled. Out of resentment or affection who knew. Yet she knew herself that she wouldn't be the kind of wolf to run straight back into his arms if he wanted her back. No, oh gods no, she would be the kind to cut off those arms.

"Ella!" So that was her name. Ella. Yes, Kira knew Ella. The name had sparked a few memories that she had not thought of at the time of her rejection and abandonment.

Ella Frisk. Her family was dead. She was a rouge with the blood of Alphas! Of course! A little girl, she was found in the woods close to death. One of the three packs that resides in the village had taken her in and licked her wounds clean for her and groomed her back to perfection. That pack happened to be the one Spencer would soon be alpha of.
