When they had finally come to terms with the fact that the girl joined and they put on some clothes, they had both gathered in what they called their dining room and kitchen. The alpha sat next to her and somehow the vampire had forced his way into the room with them.

"So I want you to go get to know the pack as soon as possible. Because what was the most important for a pack to be strong?" Kai questioned. He had taken a shower and now sported a black shirt with a pair of khaki shorts he stayed barefoot saying that 'shoes are too constricting.'

She furrowed her eyebrows at him before answering,"that a pack is stronger when it is together. Strength in numbers." Kira leaned back and smirked. "Ok. I see what you're getting at."

She herself wore the witches clothing, which in her opinion was too dark for her liking. She wore a grey striped sweater with long black leather pants she stayed barefoot too for some reason. But the witches bra size was different from hers, thankfully the mermaids size was just hers.

"Do you?" The Asian guy tapped at his cheek and leaned back in his seat. The vampire sat on the table facing the Alpha with his feet sat on the space between Kai's thighs. "Very well then, I'd like you to start to get to know them. Effective immediately. You should go fetch some firewood with Jinx."

"What? Now? Who is Jinx?" She questioned quickly. She sat forward frowning.

"He said to go get some firewood. Yes now. And Jinx is the witch. Take a hint." Sniggered the vampire, he fished out a cigarette and a lighter before lighting the stick.

"Grey why do you even smoke? That stuff doesn't work on your kind." Kai mumbled leaning forward.

Greyson was his name. She remembered. What a odd name for a vampire. But I have an odd human name too.

"So? I just like the taste of it." He grinned inhaling the chemicals into his lungs and blowing it into the Alpha's face. Kai took his wrist of the hand that held the cigarette and brought it near his face before placing his lips on the cigarette and talking a puff of it. He then repeated the same actions and blowing the puffs of smoke into the vampire's face.

"Well if you two are done flirting with one another then I guess I can take the werewolf and go get some firewood." The Witch suddenly burst into the room and headed for the fridge.

"Jinx this conversation was confidential. You and everyone else weren't supposed to be listening in." The alpha scolded in a stern but weary voice.

"Confidential my ass. If it really was then Greyson wouldn't be allowed in here. Now come on Kira. Try any bullshit and I'll slit your throat." She grumbled gulping down some water then wiping away the water that dribbled down her chin with the back of her hand. "And you two, try not to screw each other on the table like a bunch of horny rabbits while I'm gone. I don't want Aquata or Nixie to have to be traumatized." She hissed before strutting out. Her heavy boots thumped and her chains, charms and buckles jingled as she walked further away.
