Chapter 21: We've Got Some Catching Up To Do

"Spill it," Lily said. Takeda looked solemn, his puppy dog eyes really effecting her.
"That summer, Jacqui invited me around, to make a cake for Jax's birthday. She spilt her guts to me and we were both really honest. Then she told me that she liked me and we kissed. We also..." Takeda began.
"I don't need your dirty details, I want your apology, and then we can get on with our lives. Seperately." Lily said, harshly. Takeda's face dropped.
"Well, I'm sorry." Takeda said. Lily walked back towards the new Outworld ruler. Mileena was laughing and bouncing, and just overall feeling amazing.
"COME ON SF. BACK TO BASE!" Johnny shouted, whilst clapping Mileena. Lily hugged Mileena, Tanya, Scorpaleena and Melody.
"Wait, where's Rain?" Tanya asked, looking around frantically. Lily looked around, and there she spotted Rain. Laying on the ground, with Kotal's spear lodged in his chest.
"NO. NOOOO. NO! Tanya shouted, collapsing by Rain's body. Tanya and Melody began to cry, as Lily was pulled away by Johnny.
"We need to go," Johnny said. Lily tried writhing free, wriggling, moving. Nothing worked, his grip was tight.
"Rain was like my Uncle. HE WAS JUST FOUND DEAD." Lily shrieked, being pushed into her seat.
"It's okay, Mileena's the new Emperess! You have so much to celebrate!" Cassie said.
"Other than Rain dying. Oh. And TAKEDA CHEATING ON ME." Lily said, Robyn and Jin glaring at Takeda.
"So that was why there was tension," Robyn said, looking at Lily with sympathy in his eyes. Lily nodded, her eyes tearing up again. Lily tried to blink them away.
"Don't bring this up now, I've apoligised," Takeda said. Jin shook his head.
"How can we trust you, if you cheated on the one person you loved?" Jin asked, making Takeda get stumped.
"Do you have any words at all, Jacqui?" Cassie asked, mocking her slightly. Jacqui sarcastically smiled and rolled her eyes. Lily unbuckled her seatbelt and walked over to Jacqui. She grabbed her by her hair, and threw her across the aircraft.
"Have any words now?" Lily asked, mockingly.
"Yeah, a lot," Jacqui said, angrily.
"You're too scared to say them," Lily said, smiling. Lily got back in her seat.
"Running in the face of danger? Not the Lily I know," Takeda said, laughing.
"Jacqui is not the face of danger, if that's what you're proposing," Lily said, walking over to Takeda. Takeda shook his head "She's not, I just don't know you to run from anyone. Anything," Takeda said. Lily nodded.
"True, but why should I fight any of you, having no prize when I win," Lily challenged. Takeda laughed, as if saying 'Sure. Sure.' Lily sat back down, once more.

Lily felt the ship land and rushed out. "I heard about your break up," Crimson said, meeting up with Lily for lunch.
"Yeah, well, I need girl time, and I'm almost completely over him anyway," Lily said, taking a sip of orange juice. That was definitely a lie. She wouldn't be over Takeda for a while. Lily remembered that guy she had a crush on when she was 7. Max Titan, in her Shiri Ryu clan. Lily wondered where he was now. He had this dusty blonde-y, browny hair, and was so fit. Lily wished that she had taken her chances with him. He probably wouldn't have cheated. Like Takeda, but Lily never expected Takeda to cheat either. Guess, you can never know who's loyal.
