Chapter 38: Fight me bruh

As Lily exited Cassie's room, she didn't expect to see black dragon circling the base.
"General, we have BD circling the perimeter, permission to engage in combat?" Cassie said into an earpiece. Lily heard Sonya agree and Lily was off. She saw Kara hiding behind a crate.
"You'd think you would know by now, you're not small enough to hide there," Lily said, shooting Kara through a tiny crack in the crate. Sf exploded out of every room and began to shoot, surprisingly a bunch of black dragon members ran out from the shadows and attacked. Lily shot at a bunch of people and quickly froze them.
Queenie came running past Lily and screamed.
"Please, I'm not like my brothers, I don't have combat skills, I'm normal, please please help," she pleaded, tugging Lily's heart strings. She always felt like she wanted to be normal, but she'd definitely miss the action.
"Follow me, closely," Lily commanded, grabbing Queenie's wrist and leading her through chaos.
"Eat this!" Lily shouted as she shot Kano in his head when he tried to kill them. Queenie looked in awe of what Lily had been taught.

When Lily reached the bunker, she threw Queenie in.
"Wait!" Queenie said. Lily span around.
"I wish you were still with Takeda, because we'd be the best damn sisters ever!" Queenie exclaimed. Lily smirked, leaving the bunker to carry on fighting.

Lily ran out and raised her gun, peering around ever corner, ready for anything. Well, almost everything. Kano grabbed Lily and held a knife up to her neck.
"Love, your fiasco earlier when you tried to kill me, was sweet an' all, but don't try it again," Kano said, gripping tighter and tighter until the knife was millimetres away from Lily's neck.
"Lowest of the low Kano, what's your problem today? Trapped wind?" Takeda emerged from the shadows, challenging Kano. Lily was shocked, then again, she had made up with Takeda. Kano dropped Lily and dusted off his outfit. All of a sudden Kano threw the knife at Takeda and missed by inches, then Kano turned to Lily, who was staring at the floor. Kano began to throw the knife at Lily, and Takeda began to run.

Just as Lily turned around, the knife plunged into Takeda's chest.

"TAKEDA. NO!" Lily screamed, grabbing Takeda by the shoulders and shaking him. Lily cradled his head and held him as close as possible.
"Target down, LEAVE." Kano shouted, beckoning all the BD members.

"Help! WE NEED MEDICAL ATTENTION OVER HERE." Lily shrieked.
"I swear on my life Takeda, you're going to be okay, when I'm around, always." Lily whispered.

Hey guys, Daisy here. I haven't written this book for about two years, and just noticed that there was one final draft that I never published. Sooooooo, since there are still people reading, might as well treat the few of you still here. I began this book when I was about 13 years old, so I can't believe that the series has now reached 10k reads altogether. Since I began it at age 13, as you can tell, neither the writing, nor the storyline are prize worthy... but it was great in helping build my confidence and as a 17 year old looking back, it gives me fond memories. I hope each and every one of you readers are staying safe and well in these crazy times.
