Cardfight Vanguard G: New Generation

Chapter 19-Approaching Danger

~Some Random Cardshop~
A fighter is seen standing on a hull of a ship. He had rode into 'Lord of the Secen Sea, Nightmist' and was surrounded by units with 'Hollow' abilities activated.

"I attack your Vanguard!!" the fighter declared but the attack was guarded by his opponent

"I end my turn." the fighter said as Nightmist wore a fustrated look

"Hmph, looks like you can't even win after all that big actions you made." Vowing Sword seemed to say to him

"In the end, a second-rate fighter cannot do anything at all." the dragon mocked as blood-red thunder struck down, and the dragon changes from 'Vowing Sword Dragon' into a dangerous-looking dragon with blood-red spark pulsing through its body

"What is that!?!" 'Nightmist' exclamied looking at the figure in front of him

"Your doom...." the dragon said and struck 'Nightmist' with its lightning charged claw, destroying 'Nightmist' and the ship along with him.

~Card Capital~
Hikaru was cardfighting yet again at the card shop, Card Capital. It was another peaceful Saturday. With nothing to do, Hikaru decided to go cardfighting

"Lastly, Cynthia will attack your vanguard with a critical of two!!!"

"Argh....I lost...." Hikaru's opponent said as the last card flew to his damage zone "You are strong, Hikaru."

"Nah, I'm not that big of a deal." Hikaru answered scratching his cheek nervously

"Then, it's my turn. I'll best you today, Hikaru!!!" Dai yelled at Hikaru which earned a glare from Misaki

"No shouting in the shop." she warned and gave a death glare at the same time, scaring Hikaru and Dai along with those with them

"W-well then, Hikaru. Let's go!!!!"

~A few minutes later~
Dai laid on the fight table after being finished once again by Hikaru

"It was the same as yesterday....." Hikaru sighed "Really, you could try harder...."

Suddenly, Dai chuckled as he got up. "I'm still not yet done, Hikaru...." he said as he whipped out another deck and proclaimed loudly "With this new deck, I'll defeat you!!!"

~Yet another few minutes later~
Again Dai was defeated and now lie unconscious on the fight table as his spirit went out from his mouth

"Better luck next time I guess...." Hikaru sighed when an envelope was handed to him "Huh?" he looked up and saw Misaki handing him an envelope "May I ask what is this?"

"A certain someone asked me to hand this to you after you have beaten 5 players." Misaki said after Hikari took the envelope

"Who is he?" Hikaru asked although he already had a foreguess of who handed him the envelope

"Some red-haired person. Not too sure who he was." Misaki answered as she returned to reading a book at the counter

"Huh....." he opened the envelope and found out that they were new cards for Hikaru's clan, White Knight. "These seem interesting, time to customize my deck I guess...." he said to himself as he sat down at a table and began sorting out cards from his deck

~Meanwhile~
A person who has walked out from a card shop. He is annoyed and he muttered "Too easy. I can't believe that their fighters actually joined the Cardfight Championship and won....I guess the quality of the cardfighters had dropped..."

The man then crossed off something on a list then proceeded to leave "Now where is my cute Kaze-chan....."

~Ryume's House~
Kazeko was drinking tea when she felt something "Looks like a disgusting wind had appeared in this place." she said softly

"What is it?" Selene asked wearing a concerned look

"Nothing much. I'm just gonna go for a walk." Kazeko replied to Selene and at the same time taking a deck from a rack "I'll be borrowing these for a while, Ryume."

"Okay...." Ryume replied before noticing that Kazeko took a rather interesting deck out

"Looks like she noticed that he came." Selene said and sipped her tea

"That guy again...." Ryume scratched his hair while saying it in annoyance

"Looks like Kazeko wanted to settle this on her own, so why not." Selene replied smiling as Kazeko is seen running to somewhere

~Some other Card Shop~
It was another peaceful day for a lot of people in this card shop, that is until the previously mentioned boy showed up

"Anyone here want to fight against me? I'm rea~lly bored right now." the boy said to the guys in the shop and was thus challenged by a strong-looking cardfighter but when the cardfighter was defeated, he was swallowed up by dark auras and immediately became a mindless puppet. This situation has caused everyone in the card shop to panic

"Another easy win. After all the trouble I went to get this deck, I just can't find a chance to get fired up-" he said but then dodged a bullet-like wind which caused his cloak to fly away, revealing his face "Oh look, Kaze-chan is here." he said in a naughty tone when the one who shot that bullet was Kazeko

"Raimei, up to no good as always." Kazeko said while staring coldly at Raimei

"Oh~why the cold glare Kaze-chan. You know, I've been looking forward to meeting you ever since you moved." Raimei said with a hint of mocking in his tune "Oh well, could you please entertain me a little?" Raimei took out his deck case which has dark aura surrounding it

"Just what I wanted." Kazeko said taking out a deck case with metallic carvings on it. The metallic parts then broke off as a huge gust of wind surrounded both Kazeko and Raimei, forming a battlefield

"How nostalgic, the Wind Colosseum. Now then, let's start." Kazeko said after the field is formed

"As you wish." Raimei replied with the same amount of evil in him

~Card Capital~
Hikaru was building gis deck with the new cards he got when suddenly, a blinding light appeared from his cards making him shield his eyes with his arms

~???~
As Hikaru lowered his hands, he saw a familiar silhouette standing in front of him "What is this place?" he asked "And who are you?"

"We've finally met, my Vanguard." the silhouette turned around revealing it to be Aaron

"Aaron?" Hikaru spoke out as he stared at the figure in front of him
