Hikaru stood as he stared at the figure in front of him
"N-no way...." Hikaru said 'This must be a dream right? I must be dreaming.' he thought shaking his head 'Yeah, no way that this guy could be me when I'm still here.'
"You must be thinking that this is a dream correct?" another Hikaru started (I'm just gonna call him another for now) "Well, to answer your question.....you're not dreaming. Hikaru Minamoto is me as well as you." he continued making Hikaru's head spin
"Wait....this is getting very complicated.....how am I there as an evil psycho and here?" Hikaru's eyes are spinning the more he thought about it
"Let's not talk about it." another facepalmed and took out a crystal skull which expanded into a dome of darkness "Hikaru Minamoto.......I came here to challenge you, to stop your worthless struggle against Nightmare." another stated and pulled out a deck from beneath his robes
Hikaru got into a fighting stance and took out his deck as well. After that, they both set down everything on a holographic table
"Stand up, Vanguard!!!" they declared as they flipped their starting vanguard over
~Meanwhile~
Masaru entered Ryume's house "Sup." he greeted not noticing the thick atmosphere in the place
"Where have you been this whole time!!!!!" Ryume started off
"Geez....what's up?" Masaru asked holding his ears "You look so angry that I could compare you to a tomato." he continued
"Argh!!! That kid Kazeko went and lost to the guy!!! With her, the seal is gone and she won't cheer up from losing to that bastard." Ryume stated scratching his hair angrily
"Well, maybe our returning member can help in cheering her up." Masaru stated as he went aside revealing Kurosawa
"Wha-" Ryume was stopped as Masaru nodded and Kurosawa went towards Kazeko's room, where she kinda locked herself in
"Let him work his magic." Masaru said. "In the meantime.....I'mma go look for Hikaru. He may be getting himself into trouble." he said waving and going out
~Back to where we left off~
"I end my turn." another declared. He had just rode into a Grade 3 unit and Hikaru is still at Grade 2
"O great knight who walks the path of truth, decend to help those in need!!!I ride!!!Great White Knight, Aaron!!! (Grade 3, Power 11000)" Hikaru declared and slammed the card onto the vanguard circle "Stride Generation!!!! Legend Dragon, Weiss Dragon!!! (Grade 4, Power 15000+)"
"Stride skill activates, calling Mayumi (Grade 1, Power 7000) and Armored Bird(Grade 0, Power 4000) from the deck and drop zone. Next, I call Cynthia (Grade 3, Power 11000) and Rogue Knight, Derek (Grade 1, Power 7000). Cynthia's skill activates, giving her 2000 power. Derek attacks with boost from Armored Bird, with his skill, he gets a total of 7000 power!!! (Power 18000)"
"I'll guard that attack with Hollow Scythe. (Defence 21000)"
"Since that attack didn't hit, I can return Derek and retire Armored Bird to call two units from the deck. I call Alexa (Grade 1, Power 6000) and Rogue Knight, Derek (Grade 1, Power 7000). Mayumi gets 3000 power from both called units and Cynthia gets 2000 power from the called unit as well. Next, my vanguard attacks (Power 26000)"
"No guard." another decided putting his hand away
"Triple drive check, first (Brave Guard Hound), second (Heavy Fire Dragon. Critical Trigger) a critical trigger. Power to Cynthia and critical to Weiss Dragon, last (Healing Medic, Brenda. Heal Trigger) alright, a heal trigger. Recovering a damage point and the power goes to Derek."
