(Frostblaze's POV)

Frostblaze watched Sunstream carefully collecting some dock - a herb - to replace the marigold that had been used up so quickly in the battle.

She wondered how the battle at the camp was going along. The thought of anymore of her Clanmates losing their lives in the battle scared her, especially Hailstar, for he was the closest kin she had left.

Sunstream finished collecting the dock and nodded at Frostblaze to inform her that she was done.

Frostblaze looked around tensely. The forest, which was the place that she was the most comfortable in, became dark and threatening.

A rustle in the bushes alerted the she-cats of someone's presence. Frostblaze unsheathed her claws, ready to defend the golden pelted medicine cat if necessary.

A heavily scarred cat leaped onto the young warrior and they began fighting. Sunstream took the previous herbs and hid in a nearby bush in case another Dark Forest rogue attacked.

Frostblaze gasped when her attacker's claws reached her nose and tore it, causing blood to ooze out profusely.

Shocked by the stinging pain on her torn nose, Frostblaze momentarily forgot about the Dark Forest cat.

Her attacker slamed his paw onto her head, preventing her from retaliating. Dizzy from the impact of the blow, Frostblaze could only manage a weak swipe at the enemy before being swatted away like an untrained apprentice.

"Looks like you failed," he smirked, rearing up on his back legs and ready to unleash his final blow on Frostblaze.

It knocked the breath out of her, leaving her too battered to even lift her paw.

The Dark Forest tom made his way towards the bush where Sunstream was hiding. If Frostblaze was unable to stop him, Sunstream would be no match for the skilled tom.

Before he could lay a claw on the medicine cat, he was pinned by a light brown tabby tom.

Frostblaze strugged to see Sunstream's saviour as the two evenly matched toms battled fiercely. Finally, the Dark Forest tom was defeated by the other tom's well executed belly rake.

"Are you okay?" the light brown tom padded to Frostblaze's side. His voice sounded somewhat familiar. "Don't worry, I'm here to help," he added.

"We are here to help," another voice corrected. This time, Frostblaze knew who it was.

"Goldenstar!" she gasped, getting up shakily. "I thought you weren't coming."

The DragonClan leader's eyes darkened. "We were delayed by some Dark Forest cats by the pool," he explained.

"But we fought them off," a warrior standing beside Goldenstar mewed smugly.

Stormwish - Frostblaze remembered the senior warrior's name - cuffed the younger warrior's ears before he could continue boasting.

"If you are here to help, the camp is that way," Sunstream mewed urgently, flattening her fur after knowing they were not enemies. "ThunderClan-"

Goldenstar raised his paw. "Say no more," he meowed as the warriors behind him began to head towards the ThunderClan camp with Sunstream leading them.

The light brown tom offered to help Frostblaze to get back to camp. "My name is Groundfall, if you want to know," he spoke. "I will bring you to your medicine cat."

Tired from everything that just happened, Frostblaze drifted to sleep.

~~~~
Frostblaze woke up to find herself in the medicine cat. Her nose stopped hurting and there were fresh cobwebs on the wounds of her previous battle.
However, Frostblaze's head hurt and the yowls of the battle going outside were not helping.
Stagwind was chewing the dock that Sunstream collected and she carefully applied it to Emberstorm, who happened to be in the den as well.
"How long was I asleep?" Frostblaze asked, standing up slowly.
"Not too long," Stagwind replied. "WindClan and that other Clan came to help, so ThunderClan would manage for a while. They are planning to push the Dark Forest cats to Fourtrees."
Frostblaze nodded and looked out of the den, wondering if she was strong enough to continue fighting.
Suddenly, Icetail brust into the den. "Stagwind, you have to come!" he gasped. "Appleshade needs you!"
"Stay here," Stagwind mewed to Frostblaze before leaving with a wrapped package.
Sunstream returned to the den and dropped a wad of wet moss at Frostblaze's paws.
She lapped it up half-heartedly, wondering when everything return to normal again.
Most of the Dark Forest cats have been forced to Fourtrees, leaving a few ThunderClan warriors behind.
Deciding that she needed to go out for a while, she padded out of the den.
Frostblaze's gaze landed on the limp bodies of two cats, with Stagwind and Icetail standing over them.
She knew them all too well. It was Dustfur... and Appleshade. Stagwind did not make it in time.
Frostblaze broke into a run towards the grieving cats. Icetail turned away, holding back his feelings.
Stagwind took a deep breath. "We have to go and help our Clanmates at Fourtrees," she mewed. "We have to leave them here."
"Let's go," Icetail mewed, without another glance at his fallen Clanmates.
Suddenly, before the three cats could head for Fourtrees, a screech sliced through the air.
