(Lilyflower's POV)
Is this really a victory? Lilyflower was walking towards a motionless body with heavy steps. We have lost so much.
She licked her father's already cold body, her head low. "Are you okay?" Specklebreeze rested her tail on her shoulder gently.
"Yes," Lilyflower took a deep breath. "I'm fine."
"I know it's hard," Specklebreeze continued. "Losing your littermate and now Icetail."
She paused. "I will miss him."
"I know." The two she-cats remained silent for a while.
"Frostblaze told me something that Icetail said before he died," Specklebreeze remembered. "He told us that he loved us very much."
"He loved us till the end," Lilyflower muttered.
Specklebreeze gave her a small smile before padding away, leaving her alone. Lilyflower quietly sat there, deep in thought and filled with grief from losing so many of her loved ones.
Frostblaze limped towards her, carrying a small mouse. "Hungry?" she asked.
"Not really," Lilyflower replied, staring at the stars sadly. Is Icetail there? Can him and Bluewish see us right now?
"They will always watch over us," Frostblaze told her, as if she had read her mind.
Frostblaze's blue eyes lit up. "The future is uncertain, but I'm sure StarClan will guide us."
"How are you so sure?" Lilyflower asked, putting her paw on her belly protectively.
"I can see it in the stars," was Frostblaze's reply.
