Recap:

"Who are you?" asked Percy.

"You do not recognize me, Percy? After all, you carried me to my heart." That apparently confused Percy even more.

"Tsk, tsk, you are indeed forgetful. Very well, I am......."

"I am Elpis, protogenoi of hope. I hoped you might have remembered me, Percy. "

Elpis? Don't remember her. I didn't see her for the entire Giant War. Unless...Oh. Prometheus. Spirit of Hope.Okay, I remember her.

"Perce, what's she talking about?", asked Jason.

"It was during the Titan War. Prometheus came to us under a flag of truce. He then gave me Pandora's box, or pithos as he called it. It contained Tinkerbell here, and then I gave the pithos to Hestia. Aren't you there?", I answered, with the last part aimed at Tinkerbell.

"I am inside the pithos, Percy. But, similar to Gods, we can split our essences, our forms. Get it?", came the answer.

Oh. That wrapped that up. But why is she here? In front of me, that is. Not in the Isles, because she owns it. That would be stupid. Ugh! Stupid ADHD!

"Why are you here?", I asked. "To have lunch with you two, of course!", said Tinkerbell cheerfully. "Okay, wait up. I get murdered by a bunch of beings in power, and now I'm offered with a lunch offer by another one. I'm flattered, but no thanks", said Percy. The guy went through a lot- even greater than what I went through.

Tinkerbell sighed and answered with, "That was unfortunate-", but Percy spoke again with, "That's all it is. 'That was unfortunate. I'm sorry.' Well, the only thing I need  to say is I wished Pandora released you as well, so I didn't have to bear you. Hope is a poison- it keeps you alive through everything, only to ditch you at the last moment. And the best part? It's like anesthesia. All the pain you've experienced- it comes to you raw. That's what you are- a poison. You're worse that Tartarus." Elpis gasped. Even I got to say, that was harsh.

And then, Elpis did something both of us never expected. She started crying. She then stuffed a jar-like thing, the pithos, I suppose, [A/N: That rhymed!] into his arms, saying," I'm sorry Percy. I really am. You have every right to be this way, but, please, don't abandon hope". And then she ran away. Crying. You ever see Tinkerbell cry? That memory will mar me worse than anything in my life.

Turning towards Percy, I said," That was kinda mean, Perce"

"So was she when she played with my life."

"She didn't. Hope is something we all possess, and only we choose to keep it going or to let it go. No one can change that, not even the Fates or Chaos."

"You sure about that? "

"Yeah, I'm sure. For example, you've not opened that pithos yet."

He looked down and saw that he hadn't. Then looking at me, he cracked a smile. And not one of these happy ones. It was the defeated, hysterical one. Then we both broke down, remembering the pain in our lives. But one thing remained same- none of us opened our pithos, both metaphorically and literally. Hope did not fade. Hope kept going. Hope was alive, and it wasn't going anywhere.

[So that's the end of this chapter! This took a lot of work, but I did it! Anyway, happy news- finals are over! It's party time [Air horn blowing off in the distance]. So anyway, I'll be updating faster, but don't expect too much, and well that's it! A vote and comment on this chapter would be appreciated! Comment if you have any issues and improvement/ideas to the story. So that's that! Peace out!]
