i remember when we were thirteen
we used to always go out for frozen yogurt
and you would layer all the fruity yogurt
into a perfect swirl
mine was mashed together
i wasn't much of an artist
you made me try boba
and i nearly puked
but i still ate all of it
that day
you told me about your mother
and i told you about my father
who died of breast cancer
you said you didn't know men had boobs
i said i didn't know either.
