Chapter 3// Lake

Alex's POV: I woke up and checked the time on my phone. 10:50. I also have a text from Hayes.
Hayes👌: Morning Alex quick question
Me: Shoot
Hayes👌: Do you wanna head over to the lake with my friends and I?
Me: Sure why not
Hayes👌: alright just send me your address and we'll swing by and like 12:30
Me: 104 Allison Creek Rd
Hayes👌: see ya at 12:30

I shot up from my bed to my closet. "I own no types of clothes." I said. My room door opened and in came my mom. "Sweetie where are you going?" She asked. "Oh remember I met Coach Grier and his Son Hayes Grier, yea he invited me to the lake." I said. "Oh okay sweetie it's kinda hot outside so wear some short and tee shirt." She told me and walked out. I grabbed a crop top with an alien on the left side, along with light blue shorts. I walked to my dresser and went through my bathing suit drawer and looked for my black and pink bikini. Hint hint it's black as well cause I'm HALF girly only half.

I put on my bathing suit and walked around my room looking for my favorite flip flops. "FOUND THEM!!!" I screamed and slid them on my feet. I put on my shorts and tee shirt. I grabbed my phone and walked down to my kitchen. "What time is Hayes coming to get you?" My mom asked. "12:30." I told her. "Sweetie it is 12:20 right now." My mother told me. "Okay?" I said more of a question. "I'm gonna have to talk to him." My dad chimed in walking from his office. "I mean I guess." I said and pulled out my phone.
Me: Guys I'm going to the lake with Hayes
Jenna🤓: No fucking way bitch
Amy😝: yea that's not fair he gets to see you in a bikini
Jenna🤓: Yea
Me: I don't get what you two see in him
Amy😝: His Face in general
Jenna🤓: yea.
"Sweetie Hayes is here!" My mom yelled. "Okay." I yelled back.
Me: Gtg Hayes is here Love You My Hoes
Amy😝: You'll soon be Hayes' hoe
Jenna🤓: Bye Hayes' hoe.

I walked to my front door and saw Hayes and a few other guys and like two girls. "Hi Hayes." I said and stood at my door. "Ready to go?" He asked. "Yea, bye mom." I said walking out the door. I made sure I locked the door and started to walk with Hayes, Tez, Daniel, Bailey and Layla. "So guys this is Alex, she is new to North Carolina." Hayes said. "Welcome." Bailey said. "Thanks I guess." I told them. We had just arrived at the lake which is like secluded. I took off my shorts and crop top and just stood there. "Girl their staring at you." Layla said. "Okay I care because?" I questioned. "They're like Greek gods." Bailey chimed in. "Again I care why?" I told them again. "Whatever let's go." Layla said and grabbed my hand and pulled me over to the water.

We have been walking around the city so I can get a feel for the place. "I'm starving." Tez said. "Your always hungry Tez." Hayes said. "I want a cheese burger." I told them. "Are you serious?" Bailey asked. "Yea, I'm guessing you guys don't know me, I'm half tomboy and half girl only half." I stated. "Okay let's go to bojangles." Daniel said. "I'm okay with that." Layla said. "I have never tried that before." I said. "You have not lived." Tez said laughing. "Remember I use to live in NYC, I only eat from to carts on the corner of the street and sometime my favorite restaurant, it's Manhattan." I told them. "TO BOJANGLES WE GO!" Daniel yelled as we walked away from the lake.

We were sitting in a booth while Hayes went go get the food. "Question do you know who any of us are?" Tez asked. "Nope not at all." I told them truthfully. "Well I'm Tez Hayes' brothers friend, that's Daniel Skye a person Hayes went to Digitour with, those to are just girls we hang out with." Obviously Tez explained to my. "Burger for Alex." Hayes said putting a burger in front of me. "Thanks Hayes." I said I unraveled the burger and took a bite. "Third best burger ever." I told them. "Okay maybe we haven't lived a little." Layla said eating her salad.

"Well I guess I'll see you on Monday." Hayes said giving me a quick hug. I pulled and away and unlocked my door. I walked into my kitchen and saw my mom and dad kissing. I quickly shield my eyes. "Kid in the kitchen!" I yelled. "Sorry sweetie we didn't hear you come in." My dad says as I unshield my eyes. "Did you have fun?" My mom asked. "Well if you must my mother, father, I had fun." I said. "Did you eat?" She asked. "Yes mom, I'm going to sleep." I said. I ran upstairs to Jayden's room. I knocked on his door. It opened quickly and he stood there. "What's up?" He asked. "Wanna watch Netflix?" I asked. "Sure thing." He said and walked out his room. I opened my room door and saw my room. "OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!" I screamed. I just fangirled I think that's what it's called. "You like it?" My dad asked. "I love it!" I yelped. "oh yea we got your tv on the wall finally." Jayden told me. "Thanks guys." I said giving them a group hug.

Jayden and laid in my bed after I took shower and changed. "Let's watch Halloween." He said smirking. "I mean I guess." I said putting on Halloween. As the movie started I grabbed my diary.
    Dear Diary, today was surprisingly fun, Amy and Jenna basically called my Hayes' hoe. Tez and Daniel are kinda cool and hilarious. When Bailey and Layla called the boys 'Greek gods' I laughed it's was funny as hell. I tried a burger and it was bomb af. Well I think I wanna find a soccer field to play on tomorrow.
