Chapter 19// Act Like You Love Me

Alex's POV: I tried to push the gun but it happened all so fast. Once he fell to the floor, Nash pulled out his phone immediately and called 911. "Hayes come babe you have to make it through." I whispered in tears I don't care at this time his blood is all over me. "They're on their way." Nash said rushing into the room. Soon we heard sirens and yelling. "Ma'am I need you to let him go." One of Paramedics told me. They grabbed Hayes out of my arms and put him on the gurney. "You should go change your clothes." Nash told me. "No I just need to go to the hospital." I said pulling him out the house. We saw their mom starting the car so we ran over to the car. I just sat in the back sit and started to bawl my eyes out. Nash just hugged me and whispered softly. "Hayes is going to be okay, I'm sure he'll pull through for people he loves." I looked at him and it immediately reminded me of Hayes. I quickly looked down and cried silently until we made it to the hospital. I was the first to hop out the car because I realized that I'm in love with Benjamin Hayes Grier. We walked into the hospital . "Uh I'm looking for Hayes Grier." Their mom said. "What are you to him?" The nurse asked. "His mom, and that's his brother along with his girlfriend." She responded. "You may go wait in the private waiting room, until he gets out of surgery." She said pointing to the room in the ER. We walked over the wait room and sat together. "I came as soon as I heard what happened?" Chad said out of breath. "Hayes shot himself." Nash said, which made me cry because I knew I was the reason why. I pulled out my phone and looked at all the pictures and videos of Hayes and I. I happen to come across the video I took on his snapchat story asking is he loved which made me cry harder. "What's wrong?" Their mom asked. "He loves me." I tell her. "I have some clothes in the car if you wanna change out of your bloody clothes. " she told me. "Sure why not." I said. We walked out to the car and she gave me a pair of Hayes adidas pants and his sweatshirt. "Thanks." I told her and walked back into the hospital. I went into the bathroom to change. I walked back into the waiting room.
*Three Hours Later*
"Family and Friends of Hayes Grier." Hayes' doctor said. We all perked up and looked at the doctor. "Hayes has uh... I'm just gonna say it, he slipped into a coma. Us as doctors are monitoring him, to see if he wakes up." The doctor said. "Can we see him?" Mrs.Grier asked. "One person at a time." He responded. "Alex honey you can go first." Chad said rubbing my back. We all walked to the entrance of the ICU. The doctor told me room 305. 300...303...305. Here I am room 305. I walked into the room to see Hayes hooked up to a bunch of wires. I sat in the chair next to his bed. "Hey Hayes um I know you might not be able to hear me, but I love you with all my heart. We made horrible mistakes but we can get pass those. Stay here for me, your family and your fans Hayes. You may hate me for my horrible past and mistake, I just can't get over the thought of you if you die, I'll meet you there in a matter of seconds." By now I was in full on tears. His heart monitor started to beep faster and faster. I heard nurses and doctors scream he's coding. I was pushed out of the room and basically thrown out to the hallway. I was crying harder in Nash's chest. The door opened and I turned around. "Nurses were trying their best to save Hayes, I'm so sorry for your loss." His Doctor said and walked away. I slid down the wall and started to cry. "He's gone and it's all my fault. He's not here because of me. I love him too much to simply just let go." I mumbled over and over again. "Doctor Martinez!" One Hayes' nurses yelled from his room. Doctor M walked into his and looked surprised. He quickly ran out the room and down the hall and grabbed Hayes' chart. The doctor opened the folder and over looked his charts. Doctor Martinez ran down the hall and slipped, causing me to chuckle lowly so no one heard. "HAYES IS ALIVE!" He yelled. "Oh Thank the lord." Nash said hugging me. "Oh my Doge, Hayes is okay." I whispered. "Alex Hayes has been requesting you." One of the nurses said. "O-o-okay." I stammered. I walked into the same room where he died and then came back to us. "Hey Hayes." I said with a little wave. "Hi Alex, I heard what you said to me while I was in that coma." He told me. "Oh you did." I said looking down. "Alex I don't think I'm right or good enough for you, I think you should be with Josh since you seem to be care about him." He told me. "I love you I truly do love you but I don't think there can be an us anymore." He added. "I guess this is goodbye, I love you Hayes." I said and kissed him one last time before calling my mom.

I walked up to my room and locked my door. I'm stuck in this dark and scary place. I sat on my bed and grabbed my diary.
    Dear Diary, today was overwhelming. I lost my boyfriend and he almost died because of a stupid decision I made with Josh. Josh is the reason to a-
My journal was taken out of my hands and I saw Josh. He put my journal on my side table. He sat next to me and cuddled me. I was not gonna give in this time. I pushed him off and jumped off my bed. "whats wrong with you?" He asked. "You are the one who is messing my head and I can't just choose who I want, which I happens to be Hayes. No but I fucking have him because of your ass!" I yelled. "You always wanna be a little whore and go from girl to girl not thinking of their feelings. Girls actually fall for you but you wanna be a fuckboy. I only think of you as a best friend and nothing more." I added. "Okay bye best friend." He said and walked out of my room. I grabbed my journal and continued to write to get some more frustration out. Josh is the reason to all my problems. I would still have Hayes here with me if Josh stayed in NYC. But it feels great to have a friend from your old home, but he has ruined any chance I have left with Hayes. Well my life is miserable bye diary. Alex S Williams.
I walked into my bathroom and sat in there and just thought. I have school I'm not gonna go for a few weeks cause one I'm just an outcast, probably all my friends think I'm horrible. I looked through my cabinets and found it. My blade I haven't used it for sooooo long it's been about 2 and a half years. I cut twice.
1. For making Hayes' life miserable
2. For actually dating when I knew it wasn't gonna end well.
I walked out of my bathroom I really didn't care about the cuts I let them bleed until there was not more blood to come out. I sat on my floor in the middle of my room. I looked my room, everywhere I turned I saw Hayes and I from memories and thought. I took out my phone and looked at the pictures and videos of Hayes and I again. I soon had enough and through my phone across my room. I started to trash everything else and my family came in my room. My dad held me back from trashing my room even more. "Princess it's okay, sh sh sh you're gonna be okay, you're safe here at home." My dad said calming me down. "Daddy I lost him." I told him. "It's okay." He said hugging me. My dad brought me to his room and laid me in their bed. "We'll be in the room next door." He said and closed the door. I sprinted to the door and ran back to my room and grabbed my phone which was cracked and won't turn on. "MY MEMORIES ARE GONE ALL GONE!" I yelled and sat there. My mom walked into the room and sat there with me. I laid down and she cuddled with me. "Alex it's okay you'll be fine." She said. "Mom you don't understand, he loves me and I love him why can't we stay together?" I asked her in tears. "Hun he's just not ready to go back to you." She said. "You know what come with me." She said pulling out of her bed and down to the car. We soon arrived in front of the Sprint store. "Hello welcome to sprint how may I help you?" The worker asked. "Can I get the black IPhone 6 Plus I called in for the Williams family." My mom said. "Oh yea here it is." The worker said pulling out a IPhone box. "Can you transfer all the pictures and videos off of this phone to this one?" I asked. "Yea totally." The guy said and started the process. "Mom I look like a reck." I told my mother. "All you have to do is fix your hair." She told me. I fixed my hair into a messy bun.

I have my new phone and I'm at froyo with my mom. "Sweetie you and Hayes will reconnect soon again." My mom said. "Wise choice of words." I told her while we walked out to the car. "I serious you guys are in love with each other." She said sitting in the car with me. "Yeah yeah, I'm taking a nap." I told my mom. I closed my eyes and all I saw was Hayes with a gun to his head. We eventually reached the house. I walked up to my parents room and laid down. Maybe I should go to school for a little while only cause I might get bullied. I don't know why but the video when he said he loves me is my favorite. I kept watching it over and over again. I saw a tear drop on my screen and wiped it quickly. I eventually fell asleep after a P other crying session because it's just and emotional day so far. I might not even wake up for the rest of the day. I refuse to see anyone for little while.
