Chapter 21// Prom and Texas?

Alex's POV: I eventually got home week later. Hayes has come to visit me everyday. He has been acting weird, Bailey and Layla say it's nothing, but I think they're up to something. I was in my room looking through my Twitter feed. I decided to tweet.
@Alexwilliams: Why do people hate?😕.
Someone subtweeted me.
@Roxyjewls: @Alexwilliams because people do not like you! Do us all a favor and kill yourself.
Then another.

"Hey mom have you seen my book bag?" I asked. "Yea it's in the living room." She told me and resumed making Liz her Frog pancakes. I walked into the living and found my book bag. "Alright bye mom I'll see you after school." I said and walked out of the house. "ALEX!" I heard girls scream. I turned and saw Bailey and Layla. "Why are you walking to school?" They asked walking with me. "Because Hayes and I would always ride to school together, and since he's out of town for a little bit I'll just walk to school." I said. "Oh okay, so see you in fourth period." I said as we arrived to school.
"Kk see ya." Layla said walking away with Bailey. I opened my locker and grabbed my books and a pencil I found in my bag. I locked my locker and headed towards Math.
***4th period***
I sat in my usual seat and Layla and Bailey sat next to me. I took out my phone and went on snapchat. I took a selfie of the girls and posted. "Is there a Alex, Bailey, and Layla in here?" A person asked. "Alex, Bailey, and Layla go." Our teacher said. I grabbed my stuff and walked with guy. We arrived on the field and the guy handed me my favorite Starbucks drink. Vanilla Bean Frappe with extra whipped cream. There was like the whole school in the stands. I looked and my eyes met Hayes'. Daniel held up and sign along with the girls and Tez saying: It Would Be My Goal To Go To Prom With You! One of the girls on the soccer team kicked a ball towards me and I picked it up. It said P R O M,A L E X? With a yes or no box. I checked yes and kicked the ball over to Hayes. He ran over to me and twirled me around. Hayes put me down and kissed me, very passionately.

Daniel, Tez, Bailey, Layla, Hayes, and I were in Daniel's basement watching Nemo. "Babe I thought you were in California." I said. "I was but prom is coming up soon and I wanted to ask you." Hayes told me. "Um Alex your mom is calling you." Tez pointed out. I answered.
M: Where are you?
A: Daniel's house
M: Jayden need your help with something and he isn't telling me, he locked himself in his room.
A: alright I'll be there in 5 minutes
M: Hurry I'm kinda worried.
A: okay I'm leaving now.
She hung up the phone and I stood up. "Bye guys I gotta go." I said giving the, all hugs and I kissed Hayes. I ran up the steps and to the front door. "Bye Esther." I said. "Bye Hun." She responded. I ran down the street to my house. I quickly unlocked the door and locked it back. I walked up to his room and opened the door. "Jayden?" I asked. "I hate her." Jayden mumbled. I went to sit on his bed. "What do you mean?" I asked. "Jayla cheated on me with one of my friends, they hit me." He said. "When did this start?" I asked. "Two days ago." He told me. "Jayden why didn't you tell me?" I asked. "It's bad enough the world revolves around you and mom and dad's divorce." Jayden retorted. "Wait what?" I asked. "Dad has custody of us and mom has Liz, she's staying here and we're moving somewhere in Texas." Jayden told me. "Wait Texas!" I shrieked. "Yes Tex-Ass." Jayden said. "Zach lives in Texas and so does Maddie Welborn." I told him. "oh yea." He said.

"ALEX, JAYDEN!" My dad yelled. Jayden and I paused the movie and ran downstairs. "Okay guys you two are moving to Texas with me, but after your prom Alex." My dad said. "What about Liz?" I asked. "She's staying here with your mother." He said. "why?" I question. "Your mother and I's spark just isn't there anymore." He retorted. "Great I got to know people now I have to leave GREAT!" I yelled and leave. I opened Twitter and tweeted.

My door opened to see my brother. We just laid on my bed. "We leave in two weeks." I said. "I know dad already pulled me out of school." He said. "I have to tell Hayes and my other friends I'm leaving." I said and blinking away some tears. "Oh yea." He said. "Why schools over in like three weeks and then summer." I said. "I don't know." He retorted. "Well I'm tired night Jay." I told him. "Night Alex." He said and laid on his side. I really don't mind if he sleeps in here, as long as he doesn't put his feet on me.
