"Dax's POV"
"Psst it's time to wake up." I whispered in Asuna's ear.
She stirred and opened her eyes to see me. Our eyes met and she smiled. I smiled back and kissed her forehead.
"Good morning." she said.
"We need to get back to the guild," I said, "our match is about to start."
"Oh my gosh I completely forgot." she said in a worried tone.
"Don't worry we'll make it in time." I said reassuringly.
"That's a relief, I was worried for a second there." she said.
"Alright let's head back and find Ban and Elaine." I said.
"Ok, but promise me something first." she said.
"What is it?" I asked.
"Promise that you'll never leave me." she said.
"I promise with all my heart that i'll never leave you." I said and kissed her.
"Thank you," she said, "now we can go."
We left the park we were at and went straight to the guild, Ban and Elaine were already there waiting for us.
"So what have you to been doing?" Ban asked.
"Just talking," Asuna said, "that's all."
"Uh huh." he said obviously not convinced.
"May I have your attention please," Makarov yelled, "the next match will begin soon we just need to know who the competitors are."
"Cobra and I will be competing for team dragon slayer." Laxus said.
"And what about team ice shadow?" Makarov asked.
"Asuna and I will be competing." I said.
"Alright now that that's been decided, will the competitors please head to the arena." Makarov said.
"Hey Asuna before we go in there I need to tell you something." I said.
"What is it?" she asked.
"Don't use the magic I taught you unless I say so or it's absolutely necessary." I said.
"I understand," she said, "I won't use it."
After that we went into the arena and got ready to fight.
"No POV"
"Asuna," Dax said, "stay behind me and give me support."
"Ok you got it." Asuna said while darting behind him.
"Cobra let's get this done quickly." Laxus said.
"Let's use our special move." Cobra said.
"Aim for the girl," Laxus said, "she's an easier target."
"You got it." Cobra said.
The two dragon slayers stood side by side and raised their arms up.
"Unison raid poison lightning javelin." They yelled in sync and a spear like bolt of lightning with a purple tented poison wrapping around it formed in their hands.
They threw the spear at Asuna.
"Ice make shield." Asuna yelled and a wall of ice formed in front of her.
"That's not strong enough to block it." Dax said to himself and dashed towards Asuna.
He jumped in front of her and took the full force of the blast. He fell to the ground and Asuna neeld beside him tears in her eyes.
