Chapter 8: Facing Axel

"Ban's POV"

"Hey dumbass wake we need to go!" I shouted while knocking on Dax's door.

"You don't have to be so loud," Elaine said, "besides don't you have a key."

"Oh yeah I forgot." I said.

I reached into my pocket and unlocked the door. I held it open for Elaine and followed her inside.

"I'll check the bedroom, you stay here." I said.

"Awe why?" she asked.

"Do you really wanna see my brother naked." I said.

"Nope i'm fine." she said.

"That's what I thought." I said.

I went to Dax's bedroom and saw him asleep in bed. Then the bathroom door opened and Asuna walked out.

"What are you doing in here!" she screamed while covering herself.

"You guys wouldn't answer the door so I let myself in." I said simply.

"Huh what's going on?" Dax asked as he woke up.

"Sup." I said.

"Ban what are you doing in here." he yelled.

"I came to get you for the fight." I said.

"Fine just get out so we can change." he said.

"Sure whatever." I said and walked out.

"So are they coming?" Elaine asked.

"Yeah they just need to change." I said.

"Wait they," she said, "does that mean you saw Asuna...."

"Don't worry she had a towel on." I said cutting her off.

"Well as long as you didn't see anything I guess you're not in trouble." she said skeptically.

"Was that supposed to scare me?" I asked sarcastically.

"No.... but this is." she said and punched my arm.

"Ouch ouch oh the pain." I said rather sarcastically.

"You're such a meanie." she said while pouting.

"Quite your crying i'll make it up to you later." I said.

"I wasn't crying," she said sniffling, "but i'll take that offer."

"That's enough fighting you two it's time to leave." Dax said as he walked in."

"Finally," I said, "what took you so long?"

"You bursting in is what." he said.

"My bad." I said.

"It's fine let's just go." he said.

We left and arrived at the guild right as Makarov began to speak.

"It's time for the Final battle of the Festival," Makarov said, "the rules of this fight are simple, this will be a three on three match and the participants will be the two from each team that didn't fight yesterday as well as one of each from yesterday's fight, so with that out of the way who will be competing for each team."

"The members of my team competing will be myself, Moka, and Luna." Axel said.

"Alright now what about your team Dax?" Makarov said.

"The members of my team competing shall be myself, Ban, and Elaine." Dax said.

"Ok with that settled let the battle begin." Makarov said.
