He nodded at Lily and with a "Miss Davis" which she blushed at, that started rumors that persisted for months. Lily said, "Thanks Captain. Now, I hope all of you took notes on what the Captain talked about because we will be having a quiz first thing tomorrow morning..."
Groans filled the class, only to be drowned out by the bell. Minutes later, the classroom was empty, save for Steve and Lily.
"Will you really give them a test?"
"No," she said, "I just want them to talk about it with their friends and look over what you spoke on. Thanks again for coming out." She smiled up at him. He reached out and touched her arm. "No problem," he took a deep breath before continuing, "Say, uh, do you want to go get something to eat before you head home?" She nodded and said, "Sure let me get my things together and we'll go. Any place in particular?"
"No."
"Well, how much do you like organic food? I know a great place that sells it and we could eat at my apartment, if that's not too forward?"
"No, that sounds great!" Now both were blushing,
