Chapter 14: A day with him

Narrator's POV

Gloria and Elliot have gone on more dates, each was better then the other until Elliot popped the question in the cutest way ever, they have been the talk of all the school, not that they cared, they were together and they were happy. Life couldn't be better, everybody was living the perfect life.

Elliot was the most gentle person you'd ever meet, Gloria wondered how he turned so cold before. But after that she never thought of anything but him, his eyes, his smile, his face, his arrogance, his funny side.... He was attacked to her, he was enjoying every second he has with her, Gloria's mom had to get his mom like old times to make him leave the house and let Gloria get up from the couch and leave Gloria after an evening of movies and popcorn, kisses, giggles and laughter....
Gloria was on cloud nine, she could spend a day in the studio knowing that when she gets home her boyfriend will be waiting for her on the couch with warm blankets.
Everybody envied what they had, everyone wanted to be them, every girl wanted the look that Elliot was giving to Gloria, every boy wanted to be the reason of that beautiful smile on Gloria' face.
Today Elliot was taking her on a date.
"Where we going exactly ?" She asked him while putting her hands behind her head while walking to his car after finishing their classes. "Well i can't tell you sorry sweet heart" he replied with a small smile. She looked at him and sighed they got in the car. As he drove, she turned the radio soon the familiar tune of Hall Of Fame by the script ft Will.I.Am, she started to sing along each word she sang came out with so much emotion, Elliot saw that but he didn't understand why. As they arrived to their stop which was Burger King, he turned the car off and rested his head on the chair of his seat and let out a sigh. That pulled Gloria out of her bubble. She looked at him a worried " are you okay ?" she asked. he shook his head and said " Don't worry about it" while giving her that sweet smile of his that made her heart race. 

They entered the diner and sat on a table,they ordered their food and started to talk.
"Gloria ? do you think we'll make it far ? " asked Elliot while looking at the table.
"Far ? Far where ? Why ?" She asked looking as confused as ever.
"Our relationship. Do you think we'll make it after high school and after college ? " he said half smiling at her.
"Listen, Elliot... all i know is that i wanna spend as much time with you as i can. We don't know what the future holds for us so let's make the most of it" she said with a sad smile. He looked at her and grinned.
There food came later and they ate then they decided to go to the fair that was 15 minutes away from the town. As they arrived Gloria flew out of the car so fast that Elliot had a hard time catching her. But when he did they played all the games and he even won her a teddy bear which she named Piro. Elliot left the best for last "THE FAIR WHEEL" .
They went on it and it suddenly stopped at the top like in every cliche movie which made Gloria laugh so hard that was about to fall of, but Elliot grabbed her and pulled her to him.
He had her in his arms, secured and protected. She was in his arms feeling all tingly and weird. He leans down his hot breath making her turn redder each moment until his lips brushed against her giving her a jolt of electricity  as she started to kiss him back. The kiss was sweet and  it made their hearts beat faster then normal. They stayed that way for about 10 minutes kissing not caring that the ride won't be fixed until 30 minutes later.
