Chapter 25: Death

No one's POV

6 months have passed.

6 months have passed since Gloria died, 6 months since Elliot and Gloria's Child died

6 months since Elliot built the cabin in the woods,  6 months since Gloria came back to him, 6 months since Elliot stopped going to town.

It's been 6 months since Elliot had any contact with his friends or family. People were worried about him while he was living in his own little paradise with his other half .

Elliot was on top if the world, he wakes up with the love of his life next to him and falls asleep with the love of his life in his arms after several minutes of making love.

They would spend their days making food, watching movies, playing games and making love.

Elliot was getting so attached Gloria that he didn't expect that he'd loose her after he got her back.

Gloria never told him how she came back and honestly he didn't care . All he wanted was for her to be with him and indeed she was.

But life isn't always sweet and somethings are meant to happen to either make us strong or break us and now it wants to test Elliot.

Elliot woke up with a cold next to him, he looked to where Gloria should be he found an empty spot and it coldness meant that she had woke up a long time ago.

He didn't really thing about it, he got up and went to take a shower after he got out he wore his cloth and went downstairs looking for Gloria. The living room was empty, the dining room was also empty, the game room was empty,he little favorite spot was empty, and the kitchen was also empty.

He went outside and started looking for her, he went in every direction like a crazy man screaming her name, he even went to the lake but there was nothing, it's like she had vanished into thin air.

Panic was obvious over his face, he hasn't been away from Gloria for 6 months, he goes with her everywhere, he even sits in the shower when she showers, her sudden disappearance was overwhelming him.

He went to town and started looking, his face was straight showing no emotion. People were looking at him, they thought he was dead after his run from Gloria's funeral.

But Elliot wasn't even aware of the stares he was getting, all he cared about was finding a sign of Gloria without making anyone realize.

After an hour of walking around town  in vain, Elliot went back to the cabin where he found a note in the kitchen.

"My love, i am sorry.
I'm sorry, i have left you because i was called to the heavens.
Those 6 months i had were a wish that God granted me after realizing that you and I are soulmates.
Here in heaven, soulmates are rare, God hadn't seen any soulmates for centuries and that is why he granted my wish to stay with you for a while.
My love, i can no longer see you and you can no longer see me. The only was that could happen is in years from now, when you grow old and die. Then we will be reunited once again and i'll introduce you to our son.
Please, take care of yourself , i'll see you in another life." The note said.

After he finished reading the note tears were on his cheeks,his vision was bury and his heart was aching.

She left, he was all alone, the love of his life was no longer by his side, he will have to live a long depressing life until the moment he dies.

The moment he dies, will be the moment where he is reunited with his other half. But he can't take it , he can't wait for years alone to see her. He started thinking about doing the unthinkable.

Death was the only thing keeping them apart,therefore the only was to be with her is to die.

Suicide isn't a good thing but it's the only option he has to be with her and he had the perfect idea on how to die fast.

He wanted to see his child, he wanted to apologize to his child. He want to see his love and stay with her until the end of time.

He went to town and bought a rope from the store then he went back to the cabin he wrote down a note and pinned it to a tree next to the cabin, then he swung the rope around a high branch and hung it.

He went inside the house and got a chair, he put the chair under the rope and got on the chair with shaky feet.

He stood in front of the rope thinking of all his regrets in life and he put the rope around his neck. He took a deep breath and swung the chair from under his feet .

The rope was tight around his neck making his vision blurry and his breathing not normal, his body started to shake violently as his life started to flash in front of his eyes.

He took his last breath and hung on the tree, dead, alone and pale. But his soul was making it's way to heaven to meet his other half.

Half an hour later, Mrs Zablonski arrived to her son's cabin looking after the town people had told her that they had seen him and that he looked crazy.

She looked around the house and found her son's body blue hanging by a tree branch and on the other tree a note.

"I have decided to take my own life to go join my love in heaven. I can't wait for years to see her. Without her i am nothing, i might be dead as a human but as a spirit i will be alive and happy with my Gloria.
Mom if you are reading this i am so sorry i just can't live without her .
               LOVE, ELLIOT"

His mother read the letter and called help and the ambulance and 991.

The next day she had his funeral and buried him next to his beloved Gloria and their child.
