Hey Dalton

   "Hey Dalton,
I'm Ally and I think you're really cool. I love you a lot. I saw you on American Idol and know you're going to win. I'm bad at saying things I want to say, so, I'll keep it short. You're really cool and I just wanted you to know how much I love you.
                  Your Nobody,
                             Ally"
I scanned my eyes on my letter once more before I sealed it in the envelope and sent it off in the mail down to LA. I felt kind of bad, sending THE Dalton such a dumb and short letter but I knew that he'd get bored if I said what I wanted to. Like how cute and talented he is. And how his glimmering eyes are basically the reason I wake up daily. Maybe it's better I didn't say that, and sound like a stalker. I do not need him singing Wedding Chimes to me. Anyway, I sent it what more could I do. At least it wasn't hate mail.
After I got over my awful letter, I browsed my Twitter feed, and by Twitter feed, I mean Dalton's latest tweets.  Each one made my heart skip a beat but one really caught my attention.  "Hey guys. Just so you know, I'm choosing one random piece of fanmail and you will receive tickets and hotel and flight accommodations to the next show.  Good luck!"
At first I became excited, but figured he'd probably choose a big package to win. My letter wasn't even in a 9x12 envelope, there was no way I would win. As my dreams escaped me I laid down in bed, and fell asleep in a long nap in few minutes time. I woke up from my phone's noisy and obnoxious notifications. However the machine was quickly forgiven when I saw it was just filled with Dalton's newest tweets. He was disclosing all the rules, and everyone he would do so you know you won.
Based on how he explained it, he was going to choose one of the bigger packages and one smaller package like an envelope.  He'd send a letter with the address it was sent from to let us know we won. From there he'd offer us a day with him or $600 for our trip in LA. Whatever we decided he'd be okay with, since he'd probably choose the money. That was basically it. Still, there was no way I would win.
