Chapter 5

Karli's POV

We got to Joel's house. SeaPeeKay was already there walking into the door. We walked behind him into the house and Joel and Lizzie were sitting in the living room on the couch.

"Hey guys," Joel said when we walked and he turned around. I walked over to Lizzie,"Hey Lizzie you okay?" Lizzie looked better as ever,"Yeah, I'm better." Lizzie smiled.

There was a knock on the door. "I'll get it." SeaPeeKay said walking towards the door. I turned to look and it was Tanner. She was covered in snow. "Tanner!" I said running to help her. "It's...it's snowing hard...out there." She said holding herself to stay warm. I looked at Oli then I saw SeaPeeKay hugging Tanner just to keep her warm. "It was fine when we were out there." I informed. "Yeah," Oli said agreeing.

Joel got up to look out the window. "Guys," he said," You guys are gonna have to say here tonight." Lizzie walked over and looked out of the window Joel was looking out of. "You can't even see the ground!" She told us with a shocked face. They both walked over to us. "I'll go get you a blanket Tanner." Lizzie said and was very nice of her. "Thanks." Tanner said.

"Why didn't you text me." I asked her. "Because I just was gonna come here and surprise you guys." She answered. She was shivering. Lizzie came back in with the blanket and wrapped it around Tanner.

"Joel," Lizzie asked,"We need to figure out the sleeping situation." Joel nodded. He looked at everyone. "Ok," he said putting his fingers on his chin,"Who will sleep with who." Joel looked at me, then at Oli. He then looked at Tanner and SeaPeeKay.

"Oli," I whispered to him. Oli looked at me then Joel,"Joel! SeaPeeKay and Tanner, you and Lizzie," he paused," and me are Karli." SeaPeeKay looked at Oli. I looked at SeaPeeKay and I squinted my eyes. He looked at Tanner, and smiled.

I looked at Oli. "SeaPeeKay looks happy," I whispered. I looked over at Tanner. "He does," Oli responded,"Does he like Tanner?" I shrugged and exclaimed,"Find out." Oli nodded. I walked over to Tanner and Oli head towards SeaPeeKay. "Hey," I was going to ask Tanner a question,"Do you like SeaPeeKay?" Tanner looked down and started to blush. I looked at her,"You do, don't you?" "Maybe." She said.

Oli's POV

I walked over to SeaPeeKay,"Hey dude." He looked at me really happy. "You feeling better?" I asked. He nodded,"Yeah."

SeaPeeKay looked over at Tanner. "Do you like her?" SeaPeeKay looked at me with shock,"WHAT!?!" I looked at him like he was stupid. "Dude," I said putting my hand on his shoulder,"Just tell me." He put his head down,"I might..." I looked at him with slight shock,"That's all you had to say."

"Guys?" Joel asked," you wanna go watch somethings?" Everyone said sure and we all walked into the living room. Me and Karli sat in the floor on Joel's big blue rug and the rest of them sat on the two couches.

We were watching The Winded. It was a scary comedy movie, for laughs and scares. We all laughed and on the jump scares only the girls jump. It was funny. Sometimes I would kinda almost jump but I didn't.

I noticed that Karli looked tired. "Hey," I said,"Are you tired?" Karli nodded and laid her head on my shoulder,"Yeah." I smiled and moved just my eyes to get a slight gleams at her. "Joel," I said in a whisper,"Is Lizzie tired?" Joel looked at Lizzie,"Yeah she's about to fall asleep." I looked over to SeaPeeKay and Tanner was already leaned on him. "Is Tanner tired SeaPeeKay,"I asked. He answered,"Yeah."
I looked at Joel and nodded my head yes.

"Guys," he said and everyone set their attention on him,"Let's head to bed. All the girls are tired." Karli set up off my shoulder. "Joel where we going?" SeaPeeKay asked. "Ok," Joel said as he stood up, as did all of us,"Me and Lizzie will go in my room, Karli and Oli can go in the first guest room, and Tanner and SeaPeeKay can go in the other guest room." We all nodded and headed there. Karli walked next to me to the guest room that we were sleeping in.

I opened the door and I looked around the room to see what I was sleeping in. It was fine. I know Joel has a nice house.

Karli just took her flannel and shoes off and sat it on one of the chairs in the room and then laid in the bed. She shut her eyes. She tossed and turned then she opened her eyes and looked at me.

I walked over to her and sat on the end of the bed. "You okay?" I asked her. She rubbed her eyes and then rolled to looked at me on her side,"I'm not used to sleeping somewhere else." I nodded and asked her with nervous,"Do you want me to lay down now?" She shook her head yes.

I took of my shoes and put them by the foot of the bed. I walked over to the opposite side of the bed and laid next to her. Right when I laid down Karli put her face onto my chest and I put my arms around her.

Was I going to quick? Am I supposed to be putting my arms around her? I've only known her for a few days, but I feel something between us. A feeling that I haven't really felt before. It was...magical, I guess. When she surprised me, I wanted to kiss her, but SeaPeeKay came, and I also though it was to early. I'm not sure. I know I like her though. I'm positive I do.

I still had my arms around her. I could feel her heart beating against me. Our hearts were beating against each other's.

I finally went to sleep, still holding Karli again me. As I was asleep I wanted to have a dream, a dream about me and Karli. Just me and her. No one else.
