Chapter 25
~Oli's POV~

I've tried calling Karli 100 times and she still hasn't answered me. I decided to go to her house to see if she's home.

"Karli!" I yelled walking into her house which was oddly unlocked. "Karli! Are you in here?" I kept yelling looking through the house. I kept looking around, I remembered that her car wasn't in her driveway. I walked back outside and looked her door. I jumped in my car and started to drive looking around for her car.

I looked through town, our neighborhood, the new house, and no where. I then stumbled upon the park. "There's her car!" I said quickly turning off, and parking my car beside her's.

I got out of my car and looked around her car. I looked down on the sidewalk and saw her engagement ring. "No!" I said quietly then yelled,"No!"

She loves me. She wouldn't throw the ring off and run away. Look for evidence.

I started looking around for some evidence. I looked on the ground where her engagement ring was. "What is this?" I asked looking closely at the liquid. I smelt it. Chloroform. "Oh no!" I said to myself, she was kidnapped, but by who?

~Karli's POV~

I sat in that medal chair, crying, and sobbing. I need someone to help me. "Please..let me go." I said to Nate as he was walking over to me. "Karli.." He glided the back of his hand on my face,"I can't do that." I let a few tears run down my face,"Why." I said that holding out the 'y' with a wine. "Because," he said smiling,"I love you."

I looked up and saw Patrick, still on that hook. I was still crying, I couldn't stop. My mascara and makeup were all messed up as I was thinking of Oli.

"Oli where are you..." I said sobbing and breathless. Nate walked over to Patrick,"Hey Patrick." He sounded sidle, and evil," How are you? You feeling weird today by any chance?" Patrick looked confused,"No why?"

"They haven't kicked in yet, but don't worry they will." Nate laughed, with an evil smirk on his face.

"Nate....please....let me go." I said barely but he could still hear me. He walked over to me again. "I'll let you go....." He replied. My face geeked with happiness.

He started to untie me, but my hands were still being held behind my back as he walked behind me. "Patrick...." I said as he gave me a look. He started to mouth," no no don't believe him," at me.

I kicked Nate's shin and got out of his arms. I started to run towards Patrick. "Patrick!" I said as I untied to the rope having trouble.

Nate sad moaning in pain. "You little!" He started to run towards me. He got to me and pushed me to the ground. "Nate!" Patrick yelled.

Nate then got on top of me and put his hands on my throat. He was choking me. I started to lose my breath. "N..Nate. P..pa...Patrick." I said slowly seeing the light.

Before my eyes completely shut, I saw Nate kicking Nate. Then Nate tripped Patrick and knocked him out. "Now for you." He said picking me up and throwing me and Patrick into a cell.

~Oli's POV~

I went to the police and told them what I found, and my theory. "Please find her." I said as the cops called in search parties.

"Does she have her location on her phone on?" The girl police asked. "No," I said sadly. "This is going to be hard." She continued. The women started to get stressed and I was waiting impatiently, rubbing my knees quickly.

I called Joel and Lizzie, then Tanner and Callum.

Tanner: So what are the police doing?
Oli: Nothing, I mean they're trying but they can't find anything.
Tanner: Where did you find that stuff?
Oli: The park, why?
Tanner: Nate! Oh my god....
Oli: Nate? What?
Tanner: Her ex, Nate loved her and hated that she broke up with him. I don't know a lot about Nate but, they used to hang around the park all the time.
Oli: She never mentioned a, Nate to me.
Tanner: You wouldn't want to know why she broke up with her.
Oli: What'd he do?
Tanner: Well, he tried to....um...you know...do something with her when she didn't want to. He got really angry and forced her until I stopped him. They were over after that Nate. I wish to not think of Nate that way but I had to. She liked him but he didn't treat her right.
Oli: Oh..
Tanner: OLI! Nate! HE PROBABLY KIDNAPPED HER!
Oli: You're right!
Tanner: Tell the police and Callum and I will be down there in a minute.
Oli: Ok see ya
Tanner: K bye.

She hung up and I guess she was on her way here.

"My friends are coming and they have some information." I told the police.

~Patrick's POV~

"Karli?" I asked her, fanning her awake. I put her on the bench in the cell. "You okay?" I asked, laying my arm on the bench besides her. "Uh, thank you Patrick." She said in relief. "You're welcome, I could see you die like that." I admitted,"How could I?" She blushed lightly.

I hugged her, then helped her up. "Nate! Let me out!" He started to bang on the cell's walls. I pulled her back,"We can't do anything." I paused and sat her on the floor,"We've tried." She started to cry in my arms. "Patrick, I want out." She mumbled under all the sobs and tears.

"I know, I know," I said running the back of her head "Me too, me too." She couldn't stop crying. She looked down at her finger. "Patrick! My engagement ring! It's gone." She yelled.

"Oh looking for this." Nate said coming out of nowhere holding the ring in between his fingers. "Nate? Why?" She asked him, getting up and putting her hands on the bars separating her and that thing. "I already told you." He said then laughed again evilly," Now doll, don't ask again." He put the ring on a table about 30 feet away from us and starts to walk away.

"You can't hide in the shadows forever Nate!" I yelled as he was walking away. He turned around and smirked then went into the darkness.

Karli started to ball, as she was sliding down the the wall, slowly. "Karli I promise you, I'll get you out of here." I said running up to her and helping her up. I know I shouldn't have done this but I needed to. I kissed her for 5 seconds or more. "P...Patrick?" She said. "I needed to." I admitted.
