Chapter 16
~Oli's POV~

We've looked everywhere for Tanner, but she's no where to be seen. Karli was sitting on the couch with her hand on her forehead and her fingers through her hair. She then put her hands and started to rub her legs nervously and worriedly.

I walked over to her as SeaPeeKay still looked around outside. "Karli," I said as I put my hand on her shoulder and sat down,"You okay?" She looked up at me, I could see the worried tears in her shaking eyes, they were sparkling, and the light was reflecting onto her tears. "Oli....I'm scared, I know what Tanner done, but I still love her, she's still my best friend." I made a confused face and shook my head,"Karli she hasn't even apologized to you." Karli gulped and it took her a few seconds to speak again,"She did, actually." I squinted at her,"What." She nodded,"Yeah, she did." I just stared at her. "I told her that she'd have to do more than just call me and apologize." She admitted. "Karli.." I said. She put her hands on her face covering it. "I want her to come home, please find her Oli." I hugged her and pulled her against me. "I promise I will." I told her.

I let go of the hug, and I saw a tear roll down Karli's face. Her eyes were still shaking, looking into mine. I put my hand on her cheek, and rubbed it lightly with my thumb. "It'll be okay," I said with full honesty. "Ok, thank you Oli." She replied, as her held my hand on her cheek. "You're welcome, I'd do anything for you," I explained,"I love you." She smiled. "I love you too." Then I kissed her.

SeaPeeKay came in the room and we let go of the kiss. "Get it." He said. I looked at him and chuckled,"Oh shut up." Karli laughed. He also started to laugh. I nudged Karli,"We need to record a video." She smiled and responded, "Ok." Then we both got up and SeaPeeKay told us,"Guys I have to go, I just got a text from my boss." I nodded and said,"Ok man, see you later." "Bye SeaPeeKay." She said as she walked over to me.

"Let's go over to my house," I insisted,"I got my recording stuff over there." She chuckled adorably. "Ok," she said. We started to walk outside when my phone rang. "Joel?" I answered.

Joel: Oli, um I don't know why but Tanner is walking around with this other guy in the street.
Oli: Wait, what?
Joel: Yeah, I don't know who it is though. I can't really point it out.
Oli: Ok just keep an eye on her, I'll be don't there in a second.
Joel: Ok bye
Oli: Bye (I then hung up)

Karli was looking at me. "Um, Oli." She said putting her hands on my arm. "Tanner, she's near Joel's house." I informed. "What?" She asked. "I'll explain on the way there," I said,"Get a jacket and come on." She then just walked out the door,"Come on I don't need no jacket!" I flung my arms in the air then I walked out. "Forget the video for now." I said getting into my car.

I started to drive and as I was I explained to Karli the situation.

Once we got to Joel's, I saw him sitting outside with Lizzie. I walked up to him,"Where is she now?" Joel looked towards the lake,"They went that way." I looked towards the lake as well, and I squinted. "Why the lake?" I thought to myself. "Karli you stay here with them." I demanded. "Oli, no! I'm going with you. She's my friend." She interrogated. "Karli stay," I then demanded again,"SeaPeeKay keep her here." He nodded, okay to me, as I started to walk off. "Oli..." I heard her say under her breath.

I was walking around the trees, hiding myself, as I was trying to find Tanner and this guy. "Get off of me!" I could hear Tanner say. "You don't like me anymore." The male voice said. "No!" Tanner replied, and I could tell by her voice she was trying to get him off of her.

I started to follow the sound of them fighting. I then saw Tanner being pushed up against a tree. "Aren't you cute." The guy said in a deep, smirky voice. "HEY!" I yell coming out of the trees,"Get off of her!" "Oli," she asked. I then push the guys chest off of her. "What do you think you're doing?" I asked. "Well, I thought she loved me," he responded. "And she also told you to get off of her," I replied,"Tanner go to Joel's house." "Oli-" I interrupted her,"Go!" She then ran off.

"Ok, man." I said making a fist to my side. "What?" He asked taking off his hood. I let out a gasp. "Hey Oli," he said. That face, he was familiar. I remember him from university, "Cody?" He nodded evilly," That's me." "What are you doing here?" I asked. "Well, Oli," she explained,"Tanner and I knew each other way before you were my room mate. We just stopped talking and now we're back together." I tilted my head,"Not anymore you're not." "Well that's what she thinks." He said. "No that's what I think!" I said as I started to pull my fist up slowly. "What are you gonna do?" He asked when he saw my fist. "This!" I said then I swung, putting him to the ground.

He got up, and said,"Ok Oliver. You wanna fight, here you go." He then swung at me, just making my face turn to the side, and I spit on a tree. He laughed. I waited a while to create suspense. "Cody, you're gonna wish you never came back here." I said then turned my head, and out all of my strength on him. "
He then fell to the ground again. We kept punching each other over and over again.

My last punch passed Cody out. I left him at the lack and I ran off. I had bruises and my forehead was slightly bleeding. I had my hand on the shoulder part of my arm. My noise was also killing me, and it was also bleeding.

When I walked to Joel's house, I saw Tanner being interrogated by SeaPeeKay and Joel. I then saw Karli looking at me, with anxiety. "Oli," she said running towards me. "Wha.what happened to you." She added as she wiped the blood and sweat mixer off my head. "I'll tell you later," I said then I kissed her.
